Voommmmmm

I raced pass the few cars that were scattered everywhere on the road.
Beep beep beep
I ignored the amount hooks from the cars now behind me. I drove faster as earlier today's conversation flew to mind.

"Why the heck did you kiss Elena.... again?!" Linda yelled at me.
"I didn't."I said immediately
She rolled her eyes. "Yeah,right."
"I'm telling the truth, why wouldn't you believe me?" I asked before turning to Levi who gave me the 'what did you do now' look.
"Don't look at me like that, you even know what's going on."

I stopped when the traffic light went red.
Come on.  come on.  come on!
I looked at my watch
6:00 pm
Unable to wait anymore, I turned to the left and followed a different path to Emily's house.

"Elena kissed me but I quickly pushed her away maybe she took a picture and showed Emily to deceive her." I honestly said.
"Okay if that's the truth, then why didn't you tell her earlier?"
I looked down feeling guilty. "I don't know, I wanted to but thought it's wasn't needed as she wasn't my girlfriend and I didn't want to make her uncomfortable."
She looked at me in thought. "I don't think she wants you to see her as only a friend."
I looked up a bit confused but soon realization hit me. I grabbed my jacket and turned to Linda. "Where is she?"
"Her house, she's really upset so it won't be easy but good luck." She nodded once. I nodded as well before running to my car. "THANKS LINDA!!" I drove away.

A flash of light brought my back to reality. In front of me was a mini truck heading towards me. I tried to make a turn but unfortunately, it hit the side of my car making it to lose control. I tried to control the car but headed up hitting a tree falling unconscious.

Emily's POV
"Here." I told the driver and handed him his money before literally running to the hospital.
No. No. Please    God   No
I came to halt at the waiting room when I saw Levi and Linda sitting down with worried expressions on their faces.
Linda looked up and stood. "Emily!". Levi looked up as well.
She ran me and embraced me. "Where is he?" I turned to Levi who walked towards us.
"What happened to your arm?!" She looked at my elbow in horror.
I looked at the semi fresh bloody wound on my arm.
"I..." was about to talk when I saw the doctor approach us. I turned to him as Linda and Levi followed.
"Doctor." Levi spoke slightly bowing.
"Mr Macrock." The doctor nodded before turning to me and Linda. We gave him a slight bow also as he nodded as well.
"How is he doing doctor?" Linda asked.
"He's okay, thankfully no serious injuries on the head. Just some cuts, a sprained neck and a bit of a broken nose." I silently thanked God.
"However." I paused.
"He is unconscious and it seems like he'll be like that for some days."
"So you're saying a comma ?" Levi asked.
"A short term comma." He replied.
"How many days do you think it will take?" I asked.
"Inestimable." He shook his head.
"Can we see him?" Levi asked.
He nodded before leading us to his hospital room.
Immediately he opened the door my heart froze. I looked at the body connected to different sizes and colors of wires.
Jake!!
I ran to his bed and looked at him with teary eyes.
So it's true
Levi turned to the doctor. "Thank you doctor. Could you please give us a moment?" He nodded his head before closing the door behind him.
Levi and Linda walked over to us. I stared at Jake as the all the anger I bottled up vanished in the matter of seconds. Instead it was replaced with concern, worry, and sadness.
Is this how love can change your emotions with a matter of seconds.
"Emily, you can sit if you want." Linda suggested. I shook my head still staring at Jake's unconscious body.
"Levi and Linda looked at each other.
"Mr. Macrock." A nurse knocked before coming in.
"Doctor Charles would like to see you." "I'll be back." He turned to Linda before leaving with the nurse.
Why? What stupid thing did you do this time that put you in this condition?
Can't you see how upset I am and now you're on this hospital bed, unconscious making me more upset.
I thought painfully stared at Jake.
"You must be thirsty, let me get you some water as you really need it." I didn't respond. She left, closing the door on her way out.
Droplets fell on the bed sheet and soon I started crying.
Why ?just why? Why can't things go my way? Why must I suffer a lot? Just why God why?
I cried about everything and everyone in my life. Feeling tired and pitiful, I laid my head next to him and soon fell asleep.

Unknown POV
I smirked looking at the amount of medical car that surrounded that one car.
"Stage 2 complete."
I turned around and walked away.
