Sat. September 27th, 5:39 pm "Ok!" I dropped my phone on the bed. "It's time to get ready" I took off my clothes and wrapped a towel tightly around my body before heading to the bathroom. I played my favorite songs in my playlist and began showering. If I'm being honest, for the past 3 days, I've been getting more and more nervous by the day. Like can you just imagine the amount of people, light s and cameras. Plus a lot beautiful and important people with model like bodies with be there. I sighed feeling defeated. I just have to bear with it who knows it will be better than I expected it to be. I got out of the bathroom, did my skincare and changed to PJs. It's 5:30 now so I can sleep as the event starts by 8:00 and we are leaving by 9:00. I went to my bed and fell asleep. 3 hrs later I woke up by by 8:00 on the dot and on time too cuz I heard a faint knock on my front door. I got up and opened the door revealing a beautiful lady with ginger color hair and a blue business outfit. She looked at me with a bright smile. "Good evening are you Miss Alford?" "Yes I am but who are you?" I looked at her suspiciously. "Oh hello, I am Stacy, Jake's personal assistant" she said. "Jake?" I asked. "Yes, he asked me to hand this to you." She gave me a shopping bag branded the title 'Louis Vuitton' as I stare at it with wide eyes. "Thank....you " I took it from her and looked at her. "Of course, I'll wait for you as I'm taking you to his house." "Okay, thank you." I closed the door and went to room. I brought the dress from the bag first. "Oh my goodness " I gasped as I looked in awe of the beautiful handwork in front of me.

I carefully changed to the outfit afraid I might reap it the least act of force. I put on the shoes and jewelry in the same manner before spraying the expensive deodorant and perfume that came with the stuff. I did my makeup and stared at the different person in the mirror. I looked at myself in awe. Is this me? Wow I look so...so stunning I smiled at my reflection one more time before leaving my room and house. I entered the car Stacy came with. She actually a really nice person. She complimented me, made me laugh and happy, never let me feel awkward. We exchange numbers and soon the car stopped as we were at Jake's mansion. "Okay, we're here." The driver said. "Thanks Rob." She kissed his cheek before stepping out. "Are you guys dating?" I asked her as we entered the house."Yeah but Jake doesn't know yet...I think, that is if Robbert hasn't told him yet" she laughed. "I bet you guys are so cute together." I joked. "You bet but details later yeah?" "Sure." I agreed as we made our way to his living room. I stopped at my tracks when I saw him.

Until "Sir, I'm done" his butler spoke. He looked away and thanked him. "Mr Johnson, I've brought miss Alford" Stacy spoke behind me. "Thank you Stacy, you may leave have a good night." Stacy nodded. "Have a good night too sir," She then turned to me. "Bye Emily, I'll call you later " She said with a change of tone. "Bye " I waved at her as she left. I turned to Jake who's eyes were already checking me out. "You look really beautiful" he whispered. I blushed and look down "thanks, you look attentive as well." I replied feeling shy. He came closer as I could smell his strong cologne. I looked up to meet his charming smile as he brought out his elbow. "Shall we?" All my anxiety and nervousness flushed away as I found myself smiling placing my arm on his thick muscles. "We shall." We walked out of the house to his car and headed to the event.
