I'm sitting in my hotel room, drinking a cup of tea and doing something that completely goes against my nature I'm using a laptop, yes am using a laptop trying to do some research on this bloody town named StoryBrooke, as I couldn't quite shake the feeling that y/n was in some kind of trouble and I need to go and safe her.

My fears only worsened when I couldn't find any town by the name of StoryBrooke, after hours and hours of searching, and still coming up empty, I finally closed the laptop in frustration, picking up my phone I checked y/n's Instagram again, hoping she has updated a new post, unfortunately there hadn't been any new post since that morning, where she had posted about blueberries pancakes with the text underneath saying, "best pancakes ever," with a little Emoji of pancakes, not wanting to give up so easily, I open up the laptop once again.

I finally close the laptop again sometime around midnight, as my eyes started to feel heavy from staring at a laptop screen for hours, I open a bottle of wine pouring myself a glass, downing half of the content in one mouthful, before letting my mind wonder back to that night! I gently touch my lips with the tips of my fingers, remembering the feel of y/n lips on mine, the corner of my lips turned into a slight smile, only to disappear when I remember all the harsh things I had said.

I started crying uncontrollably again, I stood by the window looking out at the beautiful landscape, with tears running freely down my face, when suddenly it started raining heavy outside, had it started raining because of my emotional state? It wouldn't be the first time, after I had lost my beloved grandmother at a young age, I had cried for a week, it had rain that entire week, while we were in the middle of the worst heat wave the seven realms had ever known, I had learnt to control my emotional outbursts, that it wouldn't affect the weather, unfortunately there are times I'm unable to stay in control of my emotions and tonight is clearly one of those times, especially when it comes to my heart and right now I do not care that I'm the cause to the change in the weather.

All I care about right now was y/n, why had I done that to her? If I hadn't hurt her? If I had just been brave enough, y/n might be with me right now or safe with the other girls, I had broken a promise I had made to myself, as I allowed myself to think back on the very first time I had met y/n, she had been sitting on a Bench outside in the garden of Alfea, waiting for our meeting, she had been reading, Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix.

Reader PoV:

I woke up to the sound of crashing thunder and heavy rain outside my window, the pain I felt throughout my body was overwhelming, however I managed to glance over at the clock on the wall, it was just a little after 12:30am in the early morning, I slowly get out of bed, biting my lip in an attempt to prevent myself from yelling out in pain.

I made my way over towards the window, doing my best to ignoring the pain that scream throughout my body, I stood by the window looking out at the thunderstorm, the thunder was so loud that even when I knew it was coming, I still jumped slightly, when the next flash of lighting came, I could of swore I saw what looked like so kind of bird, maybe it was my head injury making me see thing, however I remained standing at the window, waiting for the next flash of lighting.

When the lighting came, I saw the bird again, and it wasn't just any bird, it was a big arse Phoenix, I only though Phoenix's were real in stories, then I remember the glass Phoenix I had brough in Mr Gold's shop, looking around my hospital room, I locate my bag at the far end of the room, on the floor next to a chair, I make my way over to the other side of the room and pick up my bag, sitting back down on my hospital bed, I place the bag next to me, I go through my bag until I come across the glass Phoenix.

To my surprise it hadn't broken, I found myself staring at the glass Phoenix, just like I had back in Mr Gold's shop, when an image of a little girl flashed through my mind, I gasp because even though I had never seemed that little girl before, I knew that little girl was.

"Farah," I whisper, I think this glass Phoenix belongs to her.

Regina PoV:

I woke up with a start, sitting up in bed so fast I felt lightheaded, realising it was just a thunderstorm, I let myself relax back into my soft pillow, I let out a breath before getting comfortable again in bed, I close my eye and try to go back to sleep, when suddenly I felt magic, I sit up in bed again, looking towards my bedroom window.

"That's impossible," I said out loud to an empty room, with the sound of rain hitting my window, I get out of bed, making my way over to the window, I look out of my bedroom window, I could see something in the distance, I begin to panic, had maleficent woken up? I narrow my eyes, hoping to get a better look that whatever was flying around outside, when the next flash came, I relax my body when I realise it was just a Phoenix.

How did a Phoenix get to Storybrooke? No one in StoryBrooke has magic, as far as I'm aware, beside it wasn't like there were hundreds of Phoenix's flying around the enchanted forest, anyway all the Phoenix's were thought to be extinct, since no one had seemed a Phoenix in over sixty years if not more.

With every flash of lighting, I focus my magic on the Phoenix flying around my town, something wasn't right here, this Phoenix wasn't real, it was a manifestation of somebody who was extremely powerful, is would not do, I was the only person in this town with magic, and even my magic wasn't as powerful as it used to be back in the enchanted forest, my first thought was that Gold was behind this, I shake my head because if Gold was behind this, it would be a Dragon not a Phoenix.

I need to know once and for all, walking out of my bedroom bare foot, I pop my head into Henry's room to check on him, he is sound asleep, the storm hasn't woken him up, gently closing his door, I run down the stair and outside into my garden, gasping when the cold night air hits my bare skin.

I was only wearing my skill blue night dress that stop just above my knees with spaghetti straps across my shoulders, I stand in the centre of my garden, curling my toes in the mad, throwing my head backward with my arms stretched out to the side of me, I let the magic of the earth run through me, asking the earth to let me see who was responsible for the Phoenix, the magic is so faint I could barely feel it.

After what felt like forever standing here in the rain, those it must have only been about five minutes, am about to give up and head back inside, beside catching a cold, I still had no idea who was behind the magic that had manifestation the Phoenix, lowing my arms, I shake my head before turning to go back inside, when suddenly lighting hit me from above, sanding me flying backward onto the wet ground.

Lying there in the mad with heavy rain hitting my body, I think to myself, this is it, am going to die, I close my eyes and wait for death, that when I realise there is no pain, am just wet and cold, I open my eyes again, only to see a woman with dusty blonde hair, with a glass of wine in her hands, stand by a window, she was crying, I take a step closer, studying her, I don't recognise her, yet she seem very familiar somehow.

Whoever this woman was, she was very powerful, I close my eyes as I inhale when I open my eyes again, I was back in my bedroom, standing by my window and I was dry, I had never left my bedroom.

Am stunned, I have never experienced anything like that before, not even back in the enchanted forest where my magic was at it's strongest, was my magic somehow getting stronger? however I couldn't help thinking that vision had been some kind of warning, who the hell was that woman? I didn't think I have seen her in Storybrooke, and I make it my business to know who is in my town.

Remaining at the window watching the Phoenix for over an hour trying to figure out who the hall that blonde woman was, that when I notice the Phoenix kept flying over the hospital, then something occurred to me.

"y/n," I said turning on my heels I storm out of my bedroom and downside to my home office, I unlock the safe taking out the file Sydney had given me earlier.
