"I'm so fucking in love with you, Edie Van Der Zee, I don't know where I end and where you begin anymore. I love you despite knowing that it is crazy. That our situations are disastrous. I love you knowing that you should have at least a few more experiences before you find the love. I love you even though we're not at the same place in life, have nothing in common, and started off so fucking bad. And still, I love you." - Book

"Angels don't dare about dead flowers." - Quote

"Slut. Me. Out. I repeat, slut. Me. Out." - Song

Malik groans as Asher glares at me and Malik. "Oh my god!"

"Chill the fuck out, Malik. It's our last band practice of 2024, okay?" I roll my eyes at his dramatics.

"Fine."

After that, it's time for band. Leah is in a short meeting while Jennie and Mia are late, of fucking course.

I pace across the entire first floor, due to the band room being filled with boys. Asher, Pedro, Tyke, Habeel, Zayn and Malik. God, knows why the fuck Habeel and Zayn are here?

However, I finally muster up the courage to walk in the room where I practically get jumped. "Siyana! We were waiting for you." Pedro informs.

"Uhh- why?"

Malik signals everyone to shut the fuck up. "Siyana has to interview Zayn and Habeel to be in the band."

"What are they going to do? And why me?" I ask.

"I don't know." Habeel scratches the back of his head while Zayn shrugs.

Asher looks at me and explains. "You because you have a back bone, unlike Mia. You actually talk, unlike Jennie. Lastly, you hold the group together without being extremely bossy, like Leah. You have the girls' support and all of ours. So, the decision is yours, I guess."

"Habeel and Zayn?" I flash them a bitter smile. "Out."

"Hey! You didn't even give them a chance." Malik sulks.

"I'm calling Mohammed, if they're staying."

"Call him." Tyke looks amused, to say the least. But he's always amused with a smug smile on his lips.

I walk out like the bad bitch I am, "You asked for it."

Moments later, Mohammed is in and kicks Zayn, Habeel out. Mohammed is a GCSE guy who's really involved with music and shit. He's like a mini-teacher but less strict.

Malik is pissed with me as he doesn't show fucking mercy on the poor drums, giving me horrendously intense eye-contact. "Can you stop?" Mohammed asks Malik.

He rolls his eyes, but stops. Only because he doesn't want more trouble. And finally, Leah arrives. To save me from this misery.

Like on cue, Mia and Jennie walk in and we're ready for the final performance of 2024.

Everyone's in their spots and Pedro? Well, he's having an entire mental breakdown alongside dance party as he does the griddy but on only one foot, and then wails, then moans and then just falls asleep on the floor?

He has some serious mental issues.

Consequently, Malik snatches the microphone from my hands. "I'm in the thick of it, everybody knows. They know me where it snows. I skied in and they froze!" I'm getting used to this song, it's ridiculous.

And hilarious.

Asher adds. "From the screen, to the ring, to the pen, to the king. Where's my crown? That's my bling!-"
