"Bruh, Mr. Reid please tell her no." I roll my eyes at Mia who's asking Mr. Reid for the thousandth time if he ships me and Malik. To which he replies no.

Hailey pushes everyone and walks forward. "No, no, no. Nu-uh. I'm on team Siyana and Malik forever. And you're just saying this because she's your favourite, sah? I know I'm right."

Walking down the stairs, I make a bet with Mia. "Haha, Mia. Look at that, Mr. Reid doesn't ship me!" I do a happy dance.

"Other teachers will." Mia replies.

She's falling into my trap. "Okay, let's make a bet. If you convince 5 teachers to ship me and Malik, then I'll give you 5 dirhams. But if they don't, then you'll give me 5 dirhams, okay? Deal?"

After break, we're walking up the staircase where we see our French teacher - Ms. White. "Bonjour, Ms. White." I greet her.

"Ms!" Mia screams, "I have a question for you. Do you ship Siyana and Malik?"

"Ship?" She asks, confused. "As in do they look good together?"

We walk to science where my science teacher greets us at the front. Everyone else walks in, while me and Mia are waiting outside. "Sir? I have a question? Do you think that Siyana and Malik would look good together?"

I aggressively shake my head and signal no to him but he grins and says, "Of course, I do!"

Mia starts hopping and jumping into class as I try to deny, "No! Mia he was being sarcastic-"
