Science, arrives and hits me like a train.
"Today, we're going to go into groups of 3-6 and create a revision resource like a quiz. We're going to play one this lesson, and the rest next week."
Ava, Evelyn, Aya, Leah and I; sprint to the back of the classroom to get a table. While Malik's group - Malik, Tyke, Hazza, Damien and David - were adjacent to us.
There were doing a Blooket, Zayn's team - Kahoot, Mia's team - Jeopardy, Habeel's team - QuizLet, Sinamika's - flash cards. We were doing a quiz on multi buzzer.
Ours was the most interactive. I like that. I will unlock the buzzer, Evelyn will keep track of the points, Leah and Ava will ask the questions while Aya..... she's gonna do nothing.
"Sir." Leah announces.
"We're done, can we play our game today?" I mumble, yet grabbing fucking Malik's attention.
"Which game?" He asks me, only me.
"You'll find out, Mr. Awad." I reply, swiftly.
"Fuck." He mutters under his breath. I still caught on.
"Yes, okay class. Siyana's team will make us play multi buzzer. You girls can start."
"First team, who's name?"
"Malik." David tells me.
"No. Hazza." Malik says, making me oblige.
"Second?"
"Omar."
"Third?"
"Habeel."
"Fourth?"
"Mia." Jennie nods, making me continue.
"Fifth."
"Hijana."
Everyone joins the game, making us start.
"First question. How do the respiratory and circulatory system work together?"
"3. 2. 1.... Go!" I yell, clicking the unlock button.
Even though it's on Hazza's name, we know the only one that's competing is Malik.
"Malik's team. What's the answer." Ava asks.
Malik rambles. "The respiratory system breathes in air, providing the body with oxygen. While, the circulatory system makes the blood- you know, umm what do you call it. You know it, Siyana!"
"I don't think so, Malik."
"It makes the blood travel across the body providing oxygen todifferentpartsofthe body."
"Correct." I smile, him not reciprocating it. Jerk.
This repeats till the end of the game and we're out of questions but we need a tie breaker. Malik's team is at 7 points but so is Hijana's. Mia's is on 5 points and Zayn's on 6 points. Habeel's team is on 3 points as I mumble. "I know a question."
"Say it." Leah says.
"Should I though?" I ask my team.
"I dare you." Malik interrupts.
