Sarthak's POV

"Sarthak, take care of her." Shobhit Bhai said shoving the three month old Saanvi in my hands, who was in a baby basket.

I looked at him perplexed and blinked at his retrieving figure. I was walking to the Gym and suddenly I had a baby in my arms.

"Eeyawww," I lowered my gaze when Saanvi made a cute noise and held the basket carefully.

She was dressed in an orange colour lehenga as her dearest grandmother has organised a Pooja for her.

"Someone is dressed like a princess," I tapped her chin, something which Prerna always does and makes Saanvi smile.

"Yawww." Saanvi gave me a wide smile, wildly wiggling her fisted hands.

I continued to stalk towards my destination while ignoring all the hustle bustle happening in our home.

Reaching the gym, I placed saanvi's basket in front of the mirrored wall so that she could see and entertain herseelf.

I played some rhymes in my phone and placed it beside her basket.

Ek mota haathi jhoom ke chala, makdi ke jaal mein jaake woh phasa.

Jaal ko dekha, dekhke dara. Doosre haathi ko ishaare se bulaya.

Idhar aa, idhar aa, idhar aaaaa.

The song continued and Saanvi started making noise in her tiny voice, singing along and throwing her hands in all the possible directions.

I stretched my body before sitting on the bench and raising my hands to hold the bar over my head. I gripped it and pulled it down, as I worked out to a kids song.

I completed my sets and flexed my finger before a whistle echoed in the room. I looked in the mirror and my eyes met with Prerna who was leaning at the door, filming me.

Rolling my eyes, I stood up and played another song for Saanvi.

"What are you doing here?" As much as I loved gym, Prerna disliked it.

"I came here to take Saanvi. She needs to be fed before the Pooja begins," she said and I lowered myself, taking a position to do push ups.

I began to do the push ups and through my periphery, I saw Prerna picking Saanvi from her basket.

"Prerna, no." I said when I saw her coming towards me. Ignoring my protest, Prerna sat on my back, while cooing Saanvi.

Shaking my head at her antics, I carried on with my task. Every time I raised myself on my arms, Saanvi squealed with delight.

Admiring her cuteness, I did hundred push ups with my two favourite ladies on my back.

Prerna patted my back twice before getting on her feet. "Saanvi, say bye to mausa ji."

She put emphasis on the 'mausa', and I stood up before narrowing my eyes on her.

"Yaww," Saanvi threw her hands at the command.

"Not mausa ji, baby." I tickled the baby’s little tummy, making her give me a wide toothless smile.

"It's chachu for you." I added, bobbing my nose against her snf she replied by biting my nose.
