3rd Person's Pov
Aleah just wrapped up her photoshoot and is set to a new schedule which is to try out the dress Dior made just for her fan meeting.
"How's the results" Aleah asked Linda.
Knowing what Aleah's talking about, she replied "Kairi somehow won. Congrats." Aleah flashed a sweet smile. She picked up her phone and types a message to Kairi.
I heard from my manager that you've won. Congratulations! She then hit sent.
"Aleah, we're off to our next schedule." Linda called her. She turns off her phone and went inside the car.
Linda briefed her on the dress made for her photoshoot while they are on their way to the location. As they arrived, she didn't notice that there are a few people around. She was way too focused on the conversation with Linda until she was preparing for the shoot.
"Linda, don't you think it's too overcrowded here?" she asked her as she took her hand and drag Linda to the room they were booked to take the photoshoot.
When they arrived inside the room, it was dim. Aleah scanned her surroundings and was puzzled.
"Are we in the right room, Linda?" Linda didn't respond. As she lets go of her hand and turns around to ask her again, she was surprised that the person behind her wasn't Linda.
"Surprise?" He grinned. Aleah was speechless.
"Wha- Why? How—" She couldn't pick the right words. He chuckled.
"I planned this ahead of time. Whether I win the game or not, this will go ahead as planned."
"But I have a shoot coming up!" She told him.
"No, Linda lied so you wouldn't be suspicious if there's something going on." "I have to say, I owe her because I couldn't have done it without her aid on keeping it from you." He smiled. He walked to the side and picked up ta bouquet of paper flowers.
"I know you have pollen allergy, so I thought of this instead. I hope you would accept it." he offered. She smiled and accepted it. "Thank you. It's pretty. I wonder who made it."
Kairi scratched his head. "Well, I can't take all the credit of it since Joanna and Maria helped me make this. Most of the work was done by them. I only participated on the materials." He chuckled. "Anyway, have a seat." He offered her a seat and Aleah happily sat as she admired the bouquet.
Minutes later, they were served some appetizers by the waiters. Aleah was surprised that it was a strawberry tart.
"You mentioned that you loved strawberry tarts. So I figured that you would have it on this occasion." She mentioned it to him long ago.
"Occasion? Oh you mean that we're celebrating your victory?" she innocently asked. Kairi blinked at her a few times then gave a small laugh.
"Maybe." He replied, a little chuckle from him because of her obliviousness. They talked as they eat. Kairi was aiming for the right timing to ask her something.
"By the way, are you still going to stay in Indonesia?" Aleah suddenly asked. Kairi puts down his knife and fork.
"Yes, I still need to play for them until the contract expires or not trading me for other players."
"Oh, I see. When will you return? Since the bootcamp is coming to an end?"
"I don't have an idea since the team hadn't talked about it yet." Aleah nodded and took a bite on her food.
'it will be quite lonely when he is gone..' she thought. Seeing her reaction, Kairi mustered his courage and opened his mouth.
"Aleah, Um.. I have something I've been meaning to ask..." he was about to tell her when his phone suddenly rang. Talk about the timing.
"I think you should pick it up first. It might be important." Aleah said. Kairi nodded in dismay and excused himself to answer his phone.
Aleah wondered what Kairi was about to ask her.
