3rd Person's Pov

Morning arrived and Kairi had been bombarded with a lot of paparazzi because of their curiosity about his meeting with SZE.

Kairi massaged his temple out of frustration. "I can't believe they filled it with false meaning."

"Well, they need that to poke the audience's interest especially the e-sport fans." Coach Yeb tried to coax him. "Calm down, being mad will do you nothing good. You can't do anything because the management wants this publicity."

"I know." He is frustrated. "I just don't want someone to assume that I'm in a relationship." He murmured. Coach Yeb vaguely heard it and looked at Kairi, confused.

"What?" He asked. He couldn't hear it clearly because of the loudness of the room and Kairi murmuring.

Kairi shook his head. "Nothing. Who are we going against with?"

"Nexplay EVOS. It was just announced not long ago as the challenging teams are having draw lots." Coach Yeb answered. He then clapped his hands to grab everyone's attention. "Alright everyone! Get prepared, we will be playing at game three!" he instructed.

Kairi went out to get some drinks in the vending machine. He was busy picking a drink when someone pressed the button. He was about to get mad when he saw SZE.

"I recommend to drink the one I pick." SZE flashed a wide smile and giggled. Kairi had no choice but to only accept it and press the change money in the vending machine.

"Thanks." He tried not to fake his smile and started walking back to the room. But, SZE followed him.

"Are you mad?" she innocently asked.

"No. I'm just setting my mind to focus on the game." He replied. He tried not to have a conversation with her but she wouldn't stop talking. He sighed and just passed it on his other ear.

"Now remember, the goal is to win. No other options." Coach Yeb is fueling their fighting spirit.

"Yes Coach!" They all said in unison.

As they made their way on the stage, they could hear loud voices screaming from the audience. There are many audiences compared to the other competitions because it is held outdoors and a wide space is being occupied.

They felt overwhelmed by the crowd, but they didn't forget to smile and wave at the crowd cheering for them.

Aleah, who had just wrapped up her shoot is dressing in her comfortable clothes.

"Aleah! Did you know that Kairi will also play later?" Cory asked. She told Cory about what happened yesterday, and she was devastated because she is a fan of Kairi. She also played Mobile Legends hoping to meet her idol.

"I only know that there's a match going on because of yesterday's event, but I didn't know that Kairi will participate in it." She replied. What she said was true. She almost forgot about what happened yesterday because as soon as she woke up, she had modelling to do.

"Your schedules all clear for today, why don't you go support him?" Cory suggested with a hint of teasing.

"Please stop it, show some respect for his girlfriend." She reminded Cory.

"Why do you believe that SZE is his girlfriend? It was only a speculating rumor but they never confirmed it." Cory wouldn't back down. Aleah went out of her dressing room and looked on the mirror to style her hair.

"I thought you're always at your phone? You didn't read the article published earlier? And it's a hot topic right now." She flatly told her while pinning her hair.

Cory's eyes widened and immediately opened her social media. "What?!" she gasped.

"They went on a date after your lunch meeting?! How impudent!" She shrieked. Aleah's eyes furrowed.

"What's impudent about it? It's his private life, he can do whatever he wants." Aleah commented.

"But still!" she tried to explain but Aleah just waved her hand to stop her from saying anymore.

"Don't say anymore mean words, that's irrational. He's also human, he can date whoever he wants. You don't own him for saying bad things to him, Cory." She scold Cory, she didn't like that kind of conversation.

"I'm sorry." Cory sadly apologized. Aleah only nodded and proceeded to fix her make up.

Minutes later, Linda arrived in the room and noticed the silence between them which is odd.

"That's weird, why are you two being quiet? That's creepy." Cory turned to Linda, and it was obvious that she was the culprit, while Aleah remained silent and watched them by the mirror.

"By the way, do you want to see in person how the game is executing?" Linda asked her. She just shrugs.

"I'll pass. I'm tired today. I need to sleep for the upcoming event in three days." She yawned. Linda felt sorry for making Aleah work so hard today. But, she couldn't helped but to squeeze the schedules so that Aleah's schedules will be cleared the day before the bootcamp event she is looking forward to.
