Hello, this is Sere, the author of Mysterious Racer X.
Happy New Year and thank you for reading my work. This has been a great ride so far and I am just happy to know that people are still hanging on and waiting for the next story updates.
First off, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates lately. Life happened.
Aside from my busy work and travel schedule, a lot of big people from the stan have sort of moved on and went into other things. I have also noticed the lack of updates from other authors like myself and there was a particular part of me as part of the stan that is hesitant to post regular updates because I felt that no one is going to read this story anymore.
It took me a while to check into my account to see your notifs and messages. I also appreciated some of the readers reaching out to me on my socials asking for the update. With all of these, I am inspired to just pick up this story again.
Who knows? We might not have to wait for twice a year updates anymore.
Racer X's adventures are a treat to write about and I am also excited to what's going to unfold in the next few chapters. After going through my notes, I realized that the story is still far from being over. I understand this is going to change depending on how this is all going to turn out. But this is what I love about making this story: it's like a real race on the road. You'll never know what to expect.
I won't be promising much but I will do my best to publish more updates in 2025. I can say though that the next chapter will be released very soon after this here post.
