''...''

Marian was... Quiet.

Unusually, at that...

She was sitting down on the floor, leaning her back against the castle walls. An old room with peeling walls, showing bricks underneath surrounded her. A single window to her right let out a way for the light to enter her presence.

She was hugging her legs as she stared off into the floor, her once red eyes of joy now depleted of energy and will. The happiness is gone, alongside the sparkle within.

One quick glance around the room revealed a lot. A bed, a closet, a desk, and an empty tray of food, now with only crumbs left.

A look out the window would reveal that it is currently late noon, possibly an hour away from the evening.

The girl took a deep breath in before exhaling, her eyes getting heavier with each passing second. If enough time passes with her doing this, she'll eventually fall asleep.

After all, that was her entire plan for the day. She didn't even sleep on the bed, however. Never even changed her clothes from the day she arrived here.

... Not like she wanted to be in a place such as this...

Suddenly, the silence was broken. Marian looked up and before her, trying to identify the new guest who had arrived in her room.

Expecting it to be Chime, yet again asking her what she'd like for dinner, she was flagrantly surprised to see that it was the King herself – Crown.

Her soft white blonde hair went down in long streaks, her ever-so-fluorescent scent of vanilla, her ocean blue eyes and soft expression peering away into Marian's eyes.

Crown said nothing as she came in. Though, she was carrying a rather large chair. No, it wasn't actually a chair, it was more like a throne, though one of a smaller size.

Her silence continued as she placed the throne down right next to Marian. After that, she left once more, only to come back a mere minute later, now with a cup of tea in hand.

She sat down on the throne, gazing nowhere. Keeping a straight face as she sips slowly from the cup, paying no heed to Marian, who seems to be suffering from her presence.
