It was about 3 Am. Cole was awake, he couldn't sleep. So in part of this situations he always needs his boyfriends warm to fall asleep. He sighed and decided to go to Kai's bedroom he was about to knock when he heard some muffle cries inside of it. Cole get worried and slowly open and close the door. "Kai...?" He said in a worry tone slowly approaching to him. He didn't hear an answer he slowly lift up the pillow that was in top of Kai's face and he could saw his tearing and sweating face. Cole heart ached seeing his lover like this....he hates when his lover gets nightmares.
Cole slolwy move Kai aside and layed next to him. Cole wrapped his strong arms around the smaller boy and started rubbing his back and whispering soothing words to him. "Shhh..its okay firefly. Just a nightmare". Cole whispered and keep comforting the sleepy boy. Kai slolwy calm down and remain asleep. Cole wipped his tears and sweat, later giving him a small peck on the nose. He could feel the smaller boy humming, Cole smiled rubbing his cheek and melt seeing how Kai leaned on his touch. "Cute..." Cole said giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Cole nuzzled the top of his head, later he slowly pull the blankets around them. Kai cuddles him as closer as he can and burrying on his shoulder, like a little kid seeking for some comfort. Cole loves seeimg this soft side from Kai. Cause he will know that his boyfriend acts totally different infront of other people, but what they dont know is that deep inside Kai is a cute clingy cat, who loves getting cuddles and soothing words. Cole chuckle softly one last time. "Good night firefly...". He said and finally fall asleep.
