Hello friends!
If you've made it this far, that means one of two things. Either you've finished the story, or you skipped ahead to the ending note (naughty naughty). If you're the former, congrats! This is a 282k monstrosity of a story, so that's no small feat. If you're the latter, I hope you'll take the time to read the story, if it's something that piques your interest.
If you have questions about the story or characters or anything really, I try to be fairly responsive to my readers, so consider this the place to ask them. I love hearing from you!
Anywho, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's made it to the end with me, and everyone who's commented and voted along the way. Especially thank you to those frequent commenters (you know who you are) that have left notes of encouragement and thoughts. You've really helped me break through my little walls and keep going, even when it's been tough. But to all my commenters, I've loved hearing from every single one of you, and I'm seriously happy that you even took the time to look at my silly little story.
You know, when I first started writing this, I didn't anticipate getting even close to as much love and attention as I have. Like seriously, you guys have completely blown my expectations out of the water. I thought like maybe one or two people, but it's been so much more. I love and appreciate every single one of you, and I wish you all the best.
If these characters have captured a place in your heart as they've done in mine, then please check out my other stories. I have oneshots galore, and a spinoff series featuring an alternate timeline of Connor and Clara called "With Civil Hearts and Hands." Feel free to join that adventure too if you'd like. I'd love to share it with you too! WCHH can be found on Wattpad and AO3, along with the DF oneshot collection. The WCHH oneshots have not been posted to Wattpad yet, but you can read them on AO3 if that's something you're interested in.
Also as a little tidbit, I've included several bonus features like artwork and tutorial on Clara's cipher on the AO3 version of this story found here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/51688870?view_full_work=true
If that's something you're interested in, feel free to check it out there! I most likely won't be crossposting those because it sounds tedious. But who knows, if there's enough interest, I might change my mind.
One more thing I will note. The AO3 versions of my stories are the updated versions, so that's where all the like grammar and syntax corrections have been made. So if you've come across any of those here, just ignore them I guess. If you ever decide to check out that version, you'll likely also notice some changes in a few of the events and a more updated style in the first several chapters. I did a little overhaul at the beginning of the year there. You can also download a PDF version of the story there, if that's something that strikes your fancy. If not, you can always come back here.
Just as a final thought, thank you again for reading! I appreciate all of you! Have a gorgeous day! <3
