2 weeks later

"Astraea, they need you at table two." She immediately grabbed the order and went to attend the people at that table.

"Oh, wow. You're gorgeous." A woman spoke at the table.

"Thank you." She placed the plates off of her tray.

"You ordered the Mozarella with scrumped tomatoes?"

The woman nodded.

Then she looked at what she assumed was her man.

"And you the French Fries with the cheeseburger?"

When the man also nodded she handed over the plates.

"Have a good meal." She smiled kindly.

Astraea just started with a job at the restaurant in Niece's Kitchen. She decided that she wanted to make her own money in her own way. Before her father moved she also worked at a restaurant, because of her experience she immediately got the job.

It was already night time, when she made her way back to the kitchen, the front door bells jingled, indicating that there was another costumer.

Before she went up to lead them to a table, her steps faltered.

With a chique costume and dark aura, there he stood. Astraea didn't know if he came here regularly, because of the three men that accompanied him.

One of the men name was Alonzo. Jayden told her about how he was apart of The Mafia.

She quickly regrouped herself and inched closer towards them.
Her skin felt prickly and her heart was erratically beating.

When she inched them, she spoke: "Welcome to Niece's kitchen, follow me."
Astraea felt like she wanted the ground to swallow her whole.

The 4 men got a table seated for them. She held her notepad in her hand, getting ready to write their orders.

"What would you like to drink?" Astraea muttered, her hands almost shaking.
But the girl kept her composure.

"Ginger tea." The first man, said. His voice was dark and felt like so much danger.

"Vodka with lemon."

"Same." Alonzo spoke, feeling his intense gaze on her. Like he was looking for something.

"A cup of alcohol." Jayden's eyes haven't left hers for a very long time.

"Okay, I'll be right b--"

"Stay." One of the men said.

"I-I c-c-an-'t." She hurriedly skewered away with their order.

Jayden watched her walk away and saw the type of uniform they wore, which drew the customers in.

"Don't do that sh*t again. That's my wife."
Jayden threatened.

Alonzo watched Jayden, utter those words from his mouth, knowing that that was a complete lie.
But he knew why, he had to say it.

"My sincerest apologies Don. I didn't know." The man had a stone cold portray on the outside of him, but on the inside he was shaking. Jayden saw right through him.

Last week Jayden took on the role to take the title of his father over, although when he was with Astraea he didn't like it.

The door bell jingled again.

Both men had thousand questions in their mind, but both afraid to ask them.

The other man, started to speak about their shipments that needed to be transferred by boat to not get caught.
