"How did the test go?" Volt asked.

"It went well. Yours?"
Astraea answered.

"Mine to. I'll pick you up at 19 pm today." Volt said.

"Okay." She smiled at him.
He then gave her a peck on the cheek, which made both of their eyes widen.

"I'm sorry. It's just out of instinct. I--"

Astraea blushed, not expecting that.

"It's okay."

"Cool." He chuckled nervously.

Before muttering: "I'll see you."

Astraea was waiting for her father to appear on the School's parking lot.

Just then she heard a commotion.

She looked at where it took place.

Two boys were fighting on the ground and everyone just stood still.

Astraea looked around further, why it was that everyone stood still and she found the reason.

The group that everyone was scared of were chuckling on the background.

Jayden.

He changed so much. Outside he was still the same guy, but inwardly was a completely different person.

She haven't seen him in a while. Also he was laughing.

It was weird not seeing him with Curt and Axel anymore.
She frowned and was surely disappointed in herself for almost marrying a guy like him.

Just before she was about to do anything, her father gripped one of the guys, that was pummelling the boys head on the ground, off of the poor guy and pushed him away. He didn't harshly push him away, otherwise he could hurt the guy.

When Jayden saw him, he dimmed his laughter.

"You okay?" Her father asked.

The guy was practically trembling. It was a hurtful sight to see.

"Who raised you?!" Her father angrily spoke.

"Calm down, old man. He caused all of this."
The guy spoke, not wanting to fight this probably father of someone.

Astraea was beside her dad, helping the guy up.

"Not so brave anymore are you, when someone isn't scared." Her father said.

"What did you say?"
The guy went to stand in front of the man, but got pulled back.

He furrowed his brows at Jayden.

"Not him."

The guy shook Jayden's hand off of him.

Astraea and her father both looked at Jayden.
While Jayden eyes were only on Astraea. Astraea's father followed Jayden's eyes that were looking at his daughter.
The intensity of their eye-contact was so strong, but Astraea looked away. Not wanting anything to do with him anymore.

Although she broke eye-contact, his eyes never did.
He saw the attention, she got and that infuriated him so much.

"Dad, let's just go." She muttered, silently holding his arm.

Her father's eyes left Jayden and focused on the task at hand.

"Come on, kid. We're taking you home."
