Luffy Love (Luffy x Reader)

Chapter 33

The whole crew prepared the boat for departure. The winds were crazy strong and as soon as the sails would open the boat would basically fly away. Luffy sat in front of Zoro leaning against him, his breathing was really bad. Chopper listened intently through his stethoscope. You held a rope for Brook but you weren't really paying attention, that was until he came crashing down on you.

(Y/n): "Ow...Brook..."

Brook: "Apologies (Y/n), the wind is blowing me about as if I am nothing but bones... which makes sense since I'm a skeleton. YOhohohoho!"

(Y/n): *giggles  "Well I was supposed to hold you down with the rope."

The two of stood up and dusted yourselves off.

Brook: "Don't worry too much about him. Luffy can endure a lot, although I haven't seen Luffy this bad I know he will be just fine because-"

(Y/n): "He's gonna be king of the pirates."

Brook: *Brook laugh "Even though Luffy was very injured and we had a very scary fight, how was your first adventure?"

Brook's question intrigued the rest of the crew as well, you looked around and they were all looking at you with smiled. 

It was scary, Luffy was hurt badly and they almost killed Brook for good. It was a difficult battle and I discovered a new way to use my devil fruit. I fell in love with Luffy more and I let it cloud my loyalty to him as my captain. Not great...

But...

(Y/n): "It was scary, but with all of you it was the best first adventure anyone could ask for!"

They all beamed at you and Luffy laughed.

Luffy: "Alright, let's set sail!"

The boat moved away from the dock and Usopp opened the sails, the wind swept through them and the boat went zooming away. Everyone jerked forward as the boat took off suddenly. The wind carried the boat far, just after 30 minutes the was miles away from the island now.

Nami: "Everyone make sure to stay on guard, that wind cyclone will be back at some point and we'll have to pull in the sails."

Chopper & Usopp: "Aye Aye m'am!"

Sanji: "You're so beautiful when your bossy Nami!~ I'll make some food to keep everyone energized."

Luffy: "YAY FOOD!"

Chopper: "Right, hey Zoro we're gonna need to move Luffy inside before the storm picks up again."

Luffy: "Awwww but I wanna see it!"

Usopp: "And what sit there and be inured? Plus when the storm does come back the ship will rock and throw you around causing you to get more injured, we can't watch you and take care of the Sunny!"

Robin sat in her chair and peaked over her book at you who was staring out at the sea. She smirked and turned her attention to Luffy.

Robin: "It is true that it would be hard to watch Luffy and take care of the Sunny, so maybe  someone should stay with him in the infirmary."

Nami: "That's a good idea Robin."

Zoro: "Alright I'll--"

Robin: "Actually Zoro, I think you would be more useful up on the deck. We'll need your strength. Hey (Y/n)."

The call of your name broke your focus on the ocean. You turned around and the whole crew was staring at you.

(Y/n): "I'm sorry, um were you guys talking to me?"
