Chapter 3: Love at first embrace (kind of)

Kara Davies sighed as she walked down the hallway of the shopping mall,today had been a long,joyful day at Stonehill High School, a very large,comfortable place for most students, especially Kara. See, Kara is the daughter of the mayor of Stonehill,Pennsylvania. Spoiled,snobby,popular,pretty, Kara can be quite a nuisance sometimes, (coupled with the fact that she's not afraid to voice her opinion) but she's also kind towards others. Which is why she is the most popular girl in school,in fact she practically adores school, seeing it as salvation from her busy lifestyle. Anywho, Kara was feeling extremely stressed, (she's got a pool party with her friends this Wednesday, community service on Tuesday,a science semester exam tomorrow (It's Sunday), a history memoir on Thurday, a cheerleading practice on Friday...) she sighed in desperation, if only she could escape this busy life of hers, no it's almost impossible to even try to, she thought. When suddenly she tripped over her pink shoelaces and fell down face flat. as Kara struggles to get to her feet she heard a voice. ???: "Are you alright? You don't look too good." She looked up only to see the face of....... *gasps* Johnny Conrad!? Just relax and act normal Kara told herself. "Y-Yeah I'm fine thanks"she replied,blushing a deep shade of red, as Johnny offers her a hand and helps her up on her feet. "Are you sure? You look pretty worn out to me." he asked her, his soulful bright blue eyes full of concern and worry. "Oh! I'm sorry,I forgot to mention my name! I'm Johnny,what's your name?". Kara didn't know what to do! She was going head over heels for him! (He's so handsome!) "My name is Kara,N-nice to meet you! " she replied,blushing (a shade of light pink this time)as she stared into his eyes. She couldn't help it, this guy was so hot! Without warning, Johnny just walked up and hugged her,he just hugged her!They had only just met and he was already making her heart melt! "Hey Kara?" You okay? You don't look too good" Johnny implied noticing her face was as white as a sheet."I'm.... fine... honest..."Kara's voice was barely a whisper as she started feeling weak all of a sudden. She didn't know why or how,she just started feeling...different... as if someone was trying to control her......."Kara! Hold on! You're going to be just fine." Johnny cried as he grabs her by the waist and holds her in his arms, running as fast as he can, desperate to get her to safety.."Johnny... please... help... me..." but Kara's words were no longer heard,as her world faded to black...

Dun dun duuun! Who is this Johnny Conrad,who mysteriously seems care about Kara more than anyone else? Why was Kara feeling weak all of a sudden without any explanation?! If so how and for what reasons? To be continued!
