Adriane and Shiny both watched silently as Dreamer was taken away by the officials, they loaded him in a truck and immediately drove off into the distance. She felt hopeless now, the cold night air whipped around her tear-stricken face. Something moved, catching her attention, eyes and ears open and poised. There was a rustling behind them, causing them to turn their heads in alertness. They searched but saw nothing. So Adriane and Shiny both continued on their way. A few minutes later, however Shiny heard some footsteps, like that of a horse. She turned her head a second time and froze in her tracks at the sight: a pair of blood-red demon eyes were staring at her. Sensing danger, Adriane turned her body in Shiny's direction and to her horror realized where there was once one pair of eyes now there were now multiple demon eyes, hundreds and hundreds of them as a matter of fact. They both gasped in terror when they realized what they were looking at: shadow creatures. But out of all of them one pair of eyes stood out the most, brimming with malice and evil. For this was no ordinary monster, oh no, this was a very special monster. It haunted Adriane in her nightmares! This wasn't a fairy tale where the big bad wolf leaves at the end and everyone lives happily ever after . This was reality, these monsters were actually real! This one shadow creature terrorized her in her sleep! This was the monster from her worst nightmares! At first she stared at it with doubt, but fear overwhelmed her, she could no longer deny this was reality. The monster from her nightmares finally came to life.........and it was here.
