Diamond light burst from the blazing star's unicorn jewel, hitting the warrior square in the chest, smashing her down to the ground. Adriane slowly got to her feet, glaring at the intruder who dared enter without permission! "What do you want Little Miss Barbie!" she spat coldly, crossing her arms and turning her back to the trespasser. "Nothing much, just the chance to-" Punch!!!! "Beat you up!" she finished, smirking at her target lying on the ground, bruised. She growled at the criminal in front of her eyes, her former friend was no longer there, instead she saw a monster, a monster who loved to be cruel, adoring violence of any kind. "Well well well, what do we have here? A lone wolf perhaps? Or should I say, rouge lone wolf?" Kara drawled, pulling out a knife, thrusting the weapon into Adriane's chest, blood snaking from the wound. Adriane quivered with fear, pain swept through her body, "A real warrior wouldn't be able to be all scared like this! You're nothing!" Kara repeated the words she'd spoken to her the first time they'd fought, the warrior's midnight eyes shot daggers towards the blazing star. Kara however, didn't seem fazed, in fact she laughed, laughed sadistically as she slashed at Adriane's neck, her whole body caked with blood. "You call yourself a warrior?" the blazing star mercilessly kept beating the life out of Adriane, enjoying every moment of her torture all while eyeing her unpleasant state. Adriane cringed as Kara slowly kept slaughtering her, grinning more and more as she brutally hit her arms, "Well I'll tell you what you really are! You're weak! Puny! Insignificant! Pathetic!" Kara declared as diamond-white light struck the warrior's already damaged chest, causing her to howl in pain! "Well, while it was certainly delightful to play around with you I have an important errand to attend. See ya later coward!" Kara called as she casually walked away. Adriane was in horrible shape, her arms were badly bruised and beaten, blood rushed down her neck and chest like a waterfall, sinking into the grass. "I don't want them to worry about me." Adriane spotted Shiny and Emily a long distance away, looking for something. "They've already done so much for me, I can't possibly burden them with more!" she told herself, struggling to stand up, despite her grave injuries. She tried once, only to collapse on the ground in exhaustion. Adriane smiled sadly, as her friends quickly approached her, worry decorating their faces like ribbons. "Adriane! What happened!?" Shiny and Emily cried at the same time upon noticing her dangerously injured state. "I'm fine, it's nothing." Adriane lied, not wanting to distress her friends any further. "You're bleeding!" Emily gasped in worry as the red liquid erupted from the warrior's neck. "I said I'm-" Adriane's voice was cut off as healing auras pulsed from both Emily and Shiny, instantly reliving her from her wounds. "I would've said I was fine...but ok. Thanks!" Adriane stood and faced her allies with ease. "Hey Adriane, just who was that girl who hurt you?" Shiny inquired, transforming back into Mew. "She's..." Adriane's voice trailed off as she explained the girl's identity and their relationship. "What?! Why'd she do something so cruel!?" Emily asked, fearing for her friend's safety. "She...she hates me. We used to be the best of friends when we were in school. But then one day Kara betrayed me to hang out with a group of popular girls. Since then we've been at each other's throats..." Adriane hung her head in shame, she wished she could've been a better friend, that way... "Something's wrong at Ravenswood! We have to go!" Emily and Shiny sped off north, with Adriane right behind them. Ravenswood's my home! I'm not going to let anyone or anything destroy it! Adriane thought, eyes narrowing as the trio disappeared into the distance.
