"I was very close to my father and mother. But at home one day my parents just took off and left me to live with my grandmother here in Ravenswood,Pennsylvania! Abandoned is another word for it!" Flashback ends
Adriane cringed as she slowly remembered what she told Emily and Shiny,she let a single tear slide down her face. They all thought she disappeared,but in reality....she was running away to wherever her feet took her. Running away from everything,from Emily,from Shiny, from Kara, from her past. "Run get away from here,go anywhere but here" she told herself as she sprinted away from the school. As for what she told her friends? She lied,lied when she told them she was close to her parents,lied when she told them about Kara's bullying her. The truth? Pain,heartbreak,betrayal,loneliness,sadness,hatred,rage,despair. Those exact words described Adriane's past perfectly. Her mother cared for Adriane with all her heart,Adriane adored her mother,they were as close as a wolf is to her pup (Which is extremely close in wolf terms)! But her father hated her,he wanted a son not a good-for-nothing daughter! But one day everything changed. (Flashback) Adriane's mother died in a tragic accident,she died in a forest fire while going for a walk one night with Adriane. She and her mother decided to go look at some moon flowers. Suddenly, a tree caught fire and started burning everything in its grasp. Deadly smoke billowed Her mother knew she wouldn't make it in time, because the fire had spread rapidly,and in one last attempt to save her daughter,she pushed Adriane out of harms way, saving her from the deadly flames, "Mom?" Adriane cried out desperate to locate her mother, "Mooooooooooooooooooom!!!!!!!" Adriane screamed, as she realized her mother was no longer there,she died saving her daughter's life. After that,Adriane's life became a nightmare,her father became cold and brutal,he abused her for as long as she could remember,blaming her for her mother's death. As for Kara she and Adriane were best friends from the very beginning! They had so much fun together! Until one day, Kara was interested in the popular girls at their school did,they even asked if she wanted to join them! Adriane watched from the shadows,arms crossed as an excited Kara accepted their proposal, Adriane was shocked! How dare her best friend just cold heartedly betray her like that! How dare she hang out with those girls who were all sassy and fashionable! But all that hit Adriane like a hurricane.
She was only 4 years old. (Flashback ends) "I've got to keep running no matter what!" Adriane told herself as she was running farther and farther away. After a while Adriane felt exhausted. Then all of a sudden she saw these words appear on the ground: I know who you are,turn around! Suddenly,she heard footsteps...coming closer... and closer and closer! Adriane slowly turned as her eyes met those of Emily?! "What the-Emily how did you get here? Adriane asked,shocked that she even found her here! "Well actually Emily and I tracked you down by following your footprints! But then we got lost so I turned into an Umbreon and used the yellow ring on my forehead as a flashlight!" Shiny explained grinning happily! Adriane smiled sadly,she was glad her friends found her, but she knew what would happen next, and it wouldn't be pretty.....
