Chapter 29: Ninja Shiny!!!!

Shiny's ears twitched in alertness, something serious took place not far from here! Her eyes searched among the vast landscape of trees and grass. But when she teleported into the open,grassy plains she noticed someone standing in front of her. It was Adriane! Shiny's eyes widened with shock as she looked to her right, only to see another Adriane in a peaceful sleep. There were two of them?! What's going on here!? Shiny thought as gold whips of wolf magic threatened to send her flying! Skillfully dodging the line of fire, Shiny dove, gaining speed as Brave Bird struck its mark with such force it sent her opponent crashing to the ground! "Ha! I knew you were up to no good! Take this! HYPER BEEEEEEEEEEAM!!". The move instantly burned through everything in its path, the blast of energy further weakened her foe! Just as she was about to use Thunder however, (at full power!!!!) wolf fire grabbed at her neck like hands, preventing her from moving! Shiny thrashed about wildly,trying to get loose. An idea popped into her head: (Why not transform into a Ghost type? Ghosts are phantoms or spirits so surely they won't be affected by an attack such as this!) Shiny instantly turned into Gourgeist and freed herself from her restraints! Suddenly she disappeared into the ground! Adriane scanned her environment carefully, "Where did she go off t-"That's it! You're finished!!!!!!!!" Phantom Force broke the warrior's guard as long,hairlike arms pinned her to the ground, strangling Adriane until she exhaled her last breath. "Wait a minute." Shiny quickly glanced at the recent death she'd caused. "What did I do!!!!!!?!?!?!?" she cried out in a mix of shock and guilt! "N-Nothing! You saved me!" called a nearby voice, Shiny looked to her right, Adriane stood next to her, and she was alright! "That other me was fake, she...was actually....someone else." Adriane explained, as they both smiled in relief. "Adriane? Did I do the right thing?" "By beating that other person? Yes, you did the right thing, you're a hero!" the warrior finished, as a gentle,soft breeze swept over the area. "You'll never know what hit you, won't see me closing in." Both she and Shiny turned their heads at the sound, who said that? They tried again but it was as if the voice had been swept away by the wind. "I'm sorry! Please forgive me!" Shiny gazed behind her, it was Emily!
"Adriane! I'm so glad you're ok! I should've believed you!" Emily walked towards them, tenderly beaming in their direction. "No need to be sorry. You were a fan of his at the time." Adriane smiled sadly as the lost memories overthrew her current happiness. "What's wrong? You look sad!" "Its....it's nothing either of you should be concerned with, this is my fight." The warrior loped off into the distance as Shiny and Emily exchanged confused glances. This wasn't like the Adriane they knew!! Shiny and Emily secretly started following Adriane, something was up with her and they were determined to find out what!
