Chapter 21: This can't be..?!

Adriane and Shiny sprinted away from the lake they rested at. They felt fully energized now that they took a break. Fighting unknown shadow creatures was truly exhausting. However upon leaving, the warrior noticed some writing on the ground: Dreamer is being held at a place called Captivity. Inc it's to the west of here near a large oak tree, take caution, warrior. Adriane froze in her tracks, something sounded familiar about this. Nonetheless they both continued on their way west, when Shiny noticed a large oak tree as they passed by. Something in Adriane's mind clicked, this was the place where Dreamer was being held! The two entered what looked like an ordinary,average looking building. Brick walls, crystal clear windows, whitewashed paint all over, a rectangular base and roof.. However as soon as they stepped inside, it turned from ordinary into a prison, a terrifying prison that almost seems to say: Beware, you may never escape alive. To Adriane's horror, she saw row after row of imprisoned,tortured animals as she walked by,some wore large,deep cuts on their ears, others were caked with fresh burns and bruises. Their cages were as small as their hopes to escape, dripping with death and overflowing with blood. Shiny in particular, was mortified the second she entered, her fur bristling with uneasiness. However it seemed the owners of this prison liked to save the best for last, right in front of them was a large sign that said: Danger up ahead ⬆️. Curious, Adriane headed in the direction of the arrow, with Shiny right behind her. Little did they know what awaited them........
