Chapter 32: Lone Wolf vs The Blazing Star!!!

"Well well well, somebody looks nice today." Adriane remarked sarcastically, capturing Kara's undivided attention. "So you really are a monster. I should've known." The blazing star snapped, disgust thick in her voice as she faced the wolf in front of her. "Hahaha! Me?! You're the real monster here Barbie! You've just never even noticed!" "My my, isn't someone quite the rebel! Who are you to talk!?" "Tch, that's soooo impressive Princess!" The warrior bowed before her in a mocking tone. "Yeah right! You're an animal! I'm a human! I'm so much better than you and you know it!". "Oh really? Try harder this time!!!!" Adriane stood before her enemy where her mistwolf form once was. "That's not even good! You call that transformation?! I call it...um, uh. You know what never mind!" "Oh I see how it is! You think it's easy to turn from a mistwolf into a human being!? "Well it looks that way, besides that was lame." "Lame? Lame?! I'm back into a human again and you call that lame?!!!" Hate started gradually building in Adriane's mind, increasing with each insult that reached her ears. "Alright little miss perfect! You try!" "Try what?!" she replied, a new idea struck her like lightning! "You try to live every day tormented,taunted,terrified by your own mind! Your own experiences!!!" "Your own experiences? HA! You can't even handle your own losses!". Kara laughed, enjoying her torture. "What do you mean?" she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion,tilting her head to the side. "I'm not talking about any ordinary accident. I mean personal casualties. You know, like...death?" "No......". The warrior murmured softly, grief spread like wildfire in her body. "Well let me tell you a little secret. I killed Stormbringer, and your mother!!". "You WHAT?!" Shock overtook grief, obliterating it like an explosion. Utterly and completely. The lost memories burned in her mind.

Flashback: "Storm! Storm please don't leave me! Please Storm!" Adriane was wrapping her wolf fire around Storm . "Packmate...." Storm was cut off as larger rocks rained down all around them. Diamond magic cut the rocks loose, allowing them to plummet to the ground below. A streak of blonde hair whipped behind Storm, shrouding her as she slowly choked the mistwolf, her magic dug into Storm's neck like a vise of needles. "No! No! Noooooo! Don't leave me!" the warrior's eyes were brimming with tears, she ran to Storm desperately, she would not lose her packmate not now, not ever! But the minute she tried to reach her dear friend, it was too late. Kara had already won. Right on cue, the chamber collapsed.

Suddenly, a tree caught fire and it was burning everything! Her mother knew she wouldn't make it in time, because the fire had spread rapidly,and in one last attempt to save her daughter,she pushed Adriane out of harms way, saving her from the deadly flames. Unbeknown to both of them, the licks of flame all started when shining light cloaked itself around a large tree, causing it to be hit by lightning, the smoke billowed across the sky, like a shadow. That shining light came from the blazing star! She began the tragedy that destroyed Adriane's beloved mother!!!!
End of Flashback

"YOU KILLED THEEEEEEEEM!!!!" Adriane howled in fury as wolf fire sheathed all over Kara like a lasso, spinning her around and around until it finally sent her flying against a stone pillar! Hate and rage erupted like a volcano as the warrior continued assaulting her enemy, growing stronger by each second the blazing star was in view! Thunder rumbled in the distance, like the remains of an ancient battle. "Heh....you'll never win!!" A dagger glimmered in the hands of her foe, sharper than a rose's thorns. Dreamer lied on the cold,hard earth, breathing weakly. Suddenly Adriane felt herself being knocked to the ground, face down. She tried to get up, only to see Kara clutching the dagger above Dreamer's delicate form. She raised the blade and.....?!

Dun dun duuun! Suspense once again!
What will happen to Dreamer?
Will Adriane save him?
Will she get her revenge?
Or will Kara get the best of her!?
