I stared at him, debating wether I wanted the truth or not. He looked dead serious, as he glared at me.
"Forget it." He said turning away from me. "Wait!" I said a little to loudly. "I want to know."
"I'm not sure if you can handle it." He taunted me, now only a few meters away from me.
I wasn't sure wether he was insulting me, or actually cared about my well-being. I'm going with the first one.
"I can." I said staring at him dead in the eye. He looked at me smirking, before sitting back at his arm chair.
"Say Madison, have you ever heard about your mother?" He said in disgust.
I squinted my eyes, "where are you going with this?" He let out a chuckle.
"You see, you were not the first. You were never the first in anything."
I held back the hurt, as I stared at the smirking man in front of me."What do you mean?" I said glaring.
"Your life is a lie. Your father isn't actually your father, you and your brother aren't even related. Your mom didn't leave because she was heartbroken, she left because she had a mission to complete. You, your brother is just a pawn in her game." I stared at him, shocked. Even disgusted at how casually he was saying this things.
"You're lying." I said lowly. He let out another chuckle, as he folded his arms.
"Oh sweetheart, it's the truth. In fact, you're mother killed my mate. My real mate." He snort in disgust, "she traded with a witch to fool my wolf into thinking you were mate."
I held back the tears, as I stared at him in disbelief. No, it couldn't be true! My mother would never do that.
"It wasn't until the accident, when I knew my speculations were right." He stood up, towering me.
"It must run by blood." He said monotone, before he walked out.
I sat down, clutching onto my shirt as I cried. No, no, it couldn't be true. I-no.
It just couldn't. He was lying! I knew he was. I sobbed, hugging myself.
