"Tell me again, of to why you want to sneak in the city garden?" Jasper asked, with a hint of amusement shining behind his dark orbs.I let out a sigh, continuing my decent to the damn padlock. "Tell me again, why you're not with your father hosting the banquet?" I fired back.
"Well, if you must know, dad wasn't too pleased finding me in bed with the gamma's daughter." He said almost smugly, leaning in closer, as I fiddled the bobby pin onto the lock.
"Why am I not surprised." I commented, trying to jab my foot onto the iron gates. "Why won't this open?!" I sighed heavily once again, Jasper's cool demure ever so present.
"Well, these locks have survived massive destructions over past centuries. What's to expect?"
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I grunted.
"Your desperation irks me, dearest Madison." I snorted, grabbing onto the silver ledge, which only caused me to grimace at the cold contact.
"You do know, it's near winter's time?" I ignored him once again, as I tried jumping on one of the elaborate designs of the gate. My left foot went over the leaf like shape, while the other hanged loosely trying to tip-toe onto any ledge I could feel.
Until finally, I successfully climbed over the other side of the gate, my feet gracefully landing onto the cold, un-touched grass.
"I'll be back in a bit." I said quietly, letting my feet take me to my familiar route.
It was a cold dark night, with only the moons' light laminating the area. The grass was a dark shade of green, drops of rain glossing each and every one of them.
Everything was almost as the same as I remembered, with the stench of fresh flowers, and the sounds of owls chirping near by, sent nostalgia giving me a good ol' slap in the face.
Dad and I loved going to this place. I vaguely remember a giggling six year old me hiding, while my mother gushed something about bears eating naughty children.
I chuckled to myself, thinking just how fast everything changed. The grass no longer swayed, dandelions no longer whispering, bears were alphas, and the storyteller did not exist.
I walked over to my favorite place, a tree that was left isolated from the others. Apparently, I found it sad that the tree was left alone, and so I've made it my personal conquest to see that I'm the tree's companion.
Which sounds really stupid, looking back at it now.
But that wasn't the only reason as to why I came here. This was my fathers grave.
I knelt down, dusting off the dirt that was covering his name. 'James Madox White' I read silently.
"Hey, dad... If you're listening..."I sighed, leaning onto the tree. "Sorry I haven't visited in a while... You know, alot of things have been happening lately. But I don't want you worrying about that, I'll handle it." I chuckled weakly.
"Oh and dad, I found my mate... And he's great. You know, His what you've always wanted for me." Taking in the tears threatening to spill, my fingers laced over the grass, braiding each one as I rambled on stories.
"But Matt's doing well. And Lily, Oh dad. You haven't met her yet, but her apple pies are to die for." I smiled sadly, uplifting my mood. "Dad. How I miss saying that word." This time, my I couldn't help but my emotions betray me. Tears loomed over my eyes, As I began sobbing.
"I miss you, dad... I miss you." I said quietly.
A deep silence took over, as my steady breaths and my train of thoughts leaving me in complete oblivion.
This wasn't about him. I told to myself.
This was about my mother, the lies, the secrets, the rejection and everything!
Deep inside, I knew it was. And I was scared. I was scared of how badly and deeply he affects me.
I didn't want this pain. I didn't want any of this! Ever since he came into my life, drama just comes knocking on my door like a damned soap opera.
This wasn't me. I'm not the person staring back at me when I look in the mirror. I've never pretended to be fine, I never cried for something like this nor do I seek comfort from the dead.
I've lost my sanity; Who I was.
And there's only one thing I can do.
To break the bond.

"Sire, the smartest thing we can do, is to wipe out a section of the west east packs.""But what of the alliances? I believe we do have a few small packs in that area." The king said sternly, his broad back facing a large window, that stood on front of the table of alphas.
"Yes, mostly the fishery and industrial sectors. Such as the Jamesons, Talitu Pack, Oprox, and blue crescent." An alpha of the north quoted.
"Blue Crescent?"The king asked, finally taking notice of the meeting.
"Yes, I believe it is handled by Ralfulus.
"What of the people? A voice asked.
"We must keep this information confide as for now. For we cannot draw attention to the council."
"So we're going to let those innocent people die?!" A younger alpha, most likely newly appointed, shouted.
"It isn't much of a loss, Theodore. Economically, It's what's best for the race."
"By slaughtering them? What of the children!" The daring alpha shouted once more.
"They wouldn't last a few weeks if this war took place."
"This is ridiculous! Sire-please don't tell me you're taking into consideration that-" the young alpha was cut off, when the king's hard eyes briefly landed his.
"Consider it done. I want the details given to me by tomorrow."
The young alpha's shocked expression, left nothing more but pure desperation. "Sire-please, we can't-"
"A leader must be ruthless, for the kingdom to prevail. Theodore, If you do not act like a leader, I have no problem stripping off your title right now. Enough of this foolishness, meeting finalized."
