The Thousand Sunny rocked with the rhythm of the waves. The sounds of the bustling town echoed in the distance.
Sanji leaned against the railing, a cigarette dangling from his lips as he eyed the ones who hadn't joined the others on their excursion. "Y/N, Usopp, Franky—you guys aren't heading out? Everyone else went to town."
Y/N, stretched out lazily on the wooden benches, barely opened an eye to respond. "I just wanna go to that amusement park. I don't really care for a tour or sightseeing," he said, resting his hands behind his head as he gazed at the sky
Franky grinned and lifted a wrench, his sunglasses glinting under the sunlight. "The ship got a little banged up in that last battle! It's my duty to fix her up!" he declared, giving a dramatic thumbs-up.
Usopp, standing beside him, crossed his arms and nodded. "I wanted to help, so I stayed behind," he added with a grin. "But don't worry! When we finish, we'll all head out together and have some fun!"
Sanji exhaled a puff of smoke and stuffed his hands into his pockets. "Nah, I'll wait for someone to come back and switch with me, then I'll go shopping," he said casually.
Usopp furrowed his brows. "Hm? Why wait?"
At that, Sanji's entire demeanor shifted. His eyes twinkled, and his expression softened into a dreamy daze as he recounted his reason. "Well, you see... my beloved Nami-san said this..." His voice took on an exaggeratedly sweet tone as he mimicked Nami's words, his hands clasped together like a love-struck fool.
"Oh no! All my treasure is stored on this ship. Whatever shall we do? If only there was a gallant knight who could protect it for me..."
The memory of Nami's plea played out in Sanji's head like a divine message from the heavens, and as he finished recounting it, he spun dramatically toward the group, eyes burning with passion. "IT'S ME!" he declared proudly, striking a pose.
Y/N, unimpressed, simply narrowed his eyes. "You're so gullible."
Sanji, unfazed by the jab, pointed triumphantly toward the sky. "I'm just a slave to love!!"
Usopp sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "It doesn't mean anything if you're the one saying it..."
Before the conversation could continue, the sound of footsteps hit the deck, and without warning, a familiar figure hopped down from the ship's railing with effortless ease.
"Yosh," Zoro muttered, landing smoothly.
Sanji's eyes widened in shock. "Wha—?! Zoro!? YOU WERE HERE THIS WHOLE TIME?!" he shouted, sweat forming on his brow.
Y/N blinked in disbelief. "Where the hell are you going!?" he called out.
Zoro barely glanced back. "Hm? Just taking a walk," he replied casually.
Sanji, Usopp, and Y/N exchanged looks, all three of them instantly on high alert.
"Oh no you don't!" Usopp barked, his hands balling into fists.
"Just stop right there, you damn lost child!" Sanji snapped, pointing at him accusingly.
Y/N stood up abruptly, frowning. "I swear, if you wander off, we're never gonna find you again!" he said, jumping down onto the dock to intercept him. "I'll babysit you if I have to!"
Zoro turned, his expression shifting into frustration. "I'M TELLING YOU I'M NOT GONNA GET LOST!" he shot back, his voice rising with irritation.
Usopp raised a skeptical brow. "Yeah, sure."
Zoro folded his arms, clearly insulted by the implication. "Who could get lost in a place like this? There are numbers on the trees. Worst case scenario, I just ask someone for directions. Even a kid could find their way," he argued, pointing at the numbered markers on the path ahead.
