It was 5 in the morning and we were just getting up, the sun not even over the horizon yet and stars still filled the sky. We had to be on the bus no later than 6:30. We both got our coffee and watched the news in silence. Both to tired to even function this early. "Is it ok if I shower first?" I asked Joey after finishing my cup of coffee. He nodded. I made him another cup before I got my clothes and headed towards the bathroom. My clothes consisted of a simple loose gray v-neck, black zip up hoodie, black leggings and my ugg boots. I got in the shower letting the steam and warm water wake me up. After a 20 minute shower I dressed and pulled my damp hair into a braid. My makeup was simple, bb cream, nude shimmering eye-shadow, mascara, light blush, and peppermint lip balm. After I got out if the bathroom and packed up my makeup I went to check on Joey who unsurprisingly was asleep, his hands clasped around his half full coffee cup. "Babe, you need to start getting ready." I said sweetly as I rubbed his arm. His eyes popped open. "Right, right. Sorry." He said in a rushed tone as he scrambled to get up. I put a hand to his chest, "You have a little over a half an hour to get ready, no need to rush." I said slightly smiling at him. He relaxed and sighed before giving me a slight smile. "Well I'm going to get in the shower now so we can spend a little time together before having to be back in the bus." Joey said before kissing my forehead and walking into the bathroom and shutting the door.
I lightly blushed as I began to pack my stuff up and grab Joey an outfit before organizing his belongings. Within 10 minutes he was out of the shower with only a towel around his waist. I turned away quickly, a deep red blush forming on my face. "I already pulled you out some clothes." I said averting my attention to my own suitcase as I packed my last shirt. I heard Joey quietly laugh to himself. I quickly looked at him while he grabbed his clothes and put his dirty clothes in his suitcase. His hair was shaggy and hung in front of his baby blue eyes making them stand out from behind his dark wet hair. "I can feel you looking at me." Joey said with a smirk as he zipped up his suitcase. I quickly looked away. "I was not." I protested. I felt his presence next to me as his hand lightly made contact with my cheek as he turned my face towards him. My eyes met with his. They were filled with happiness. I took my hand and moved the hair out of his face and giggled. "What's so funny?" Joey asked with the smirk still on his face. "Your hair's cute when it's wet and I feel nervous with you topless." I said shyly my blush deepening as I closed my eyes and smiled. I soon felt Joey's lips make contact with mine. He smiled into the kiss as did I.
"I'm gonna get dressed so I don't make you more nervous." Joey said with a laugh as he grabbed his clothes and walked back into the bathroom closing the door. I just shook my head and smirked as I lugged both our suitcases into the living room part of our room. A few minutes Joey had returned from the bathroom, his hair no longer in his face but styled. "Thanks for packing me up babe." Joey said as he walked up to me and kissed my cheek before pulling me into a warm hug. "It was no big deal babe. Want one last cup of coffee since we have 15 minutes to killed before we have to get on the bus?" I said to Joey as we pulled away. "I'd love that, want help?" Joey asked as I led him to the kitchenet. "Sure, grab two to-go cups." I said to Joey as I grabbed some coffee grounds and put them into the coffee maker as I waited for it to warm up. "So what's on the agenda today?" I asked sweetly a I leaned up against the counter. "Well we head towards indy and its about a three hour drive, we perform then were back on the road and headed towards our next show." Joey said with a sigh. "Wow they don't really give you any time in-between to just rest do they?" I asked and began to pour coffee into cups since the coffee maker had fully warmed up. "That's why I said to treasure sleep. That's why most of the time we will be sleeping." Joey said with a laugh as I handed him a steaming up of coffee and finished making my own before turning off the coffee maker. "At least I have a really good pillow who just happens to be my boyfriend." I said with a giggle as I waked past him and made a quick scan in each room to make sure I didn't forget anything. "Ready?" I asked Joey as I grabbed the handle of my suitcase. "If you are." Joey said with a content smile as he grabbed the handle to his suitcase. I nodded and we were both out the door and into the elevator. "I really treasure these quiet moments with you. You're like paradise from the hecticness that we go through everyday." Joey said with a small grin. "I enjoy our time together too babe." I said with a grin as I kissed Joey on the cheek.
