"What time is it?" I asked Joey since he woke me up. "Its about midnight." Joey said with a small smile. "uggh, are we at the hotel yet?" I said tiredly. "Almost just 5 more minutes." Joey said as he stretched and yawned. "Even after sleeping for hours...I'm still extremely exhausted." I told Joey as I tied my hair up into a messy bun and put my sweatshirt back on. "At least we get a comfy bed to sleep in tonight, then a whole day together tomorrow since the concert isn't until 2 days." Joey said as he helped me up and we walked to the front of the bus to make coffee. "A whole day with you? Can't wait!" I said with a large smile as Joey grabbed two waters from the small fridge. "The guys were talking about meeting up at a waffle house for dinner." Joey said as he passed me a water "I've always wanted to experience breakfast for dinner." I said with a small smile. "You mean to tell me you have never got to experience pancakes and bacon in the evening." Joey said raising an eyebrow at me. I just shook my head as I sat down at the empty booth. Joey joined me moments later and sat across from me. "This trip is full of beginnings for me." I said with a small laugh before sipping at my water. Joey smiled as we sat comfortably in the shared silence as the bus made it's way to the parking garage. When the bus rolled to a stop I asked Joey if we should wake the rest of them up. "You wake up the ladies I'll wake up the guys." Joey said as he brought our empty bottles to the trash. I made my way to the bunks with Joey trailing behind. The guys were on one side and the ladies were on the other.
"Kelsey, time to wake up hun," I said sweetly as I gently shook Kelsey's arm. "Are we at the hotel?" She grumbled. "Yes, just parked at it." I said with a smile as she began to sit up and I got out of the way so she could get out of the bunk. Now it was Fallon's turn to be woken up. "Wakey wakey, Fallon." I said using the same tone I did with Kelsey. "I already heard you waking up Kels, be out in a second." She said quietly as she drew her bunk curtain closed. I giggled and opened it popping my head in as Fallon winced at the light. "Were already here, unless you rather sleep in an empty bus in a sketchy parking lot, I suggest that you get up." I said with a laugh as Joey had finally managed to get Alan and Caleb up. Fallon got out from her bunk and stretched and yawned. "Mind helping me out here Fallon?" Joey said gesturing to the snoring Chad. "He's always hard to get awake." Fallon said sleepily with a giggle as she began trying to wake Chad up as me and Joey made our way past her and grabbed our carry on bags before exiting the bus and grabbing our suitcases that the bus driver thankfully lined up on the pavement next to the bus. We thanked him as we made our way towards the entrance of the hotel. It was your usual Holiday Inn but it totally beat sleeping on a bus. After checking in and entering our room me and Joey both dropped our suitcases right when we walked in and dropped into our beds, not even bothering to turn on the lights in order to see causing both of us to stumble on unexpectedly placed furniture before finally reaching the beds. We each flopped on our own beds, I took off my sweatshirt and threw it on the floor before curling myself under the covers. "Night babe." Joey whispered sleepily. "Night Joey." I giggled before falling back into a welcoming slumber.
The next morning I awoke to the warming smell of freshly made coffee. I opened my eyes to see that the sun was out and filling the room with it's warm light. I checked the time on my phone to see that it was already 11:30 in the morning. I was shocked Joey was already up since he wasn't in his bed. I got up and followed the scent of coffee which led me to the small kitchenette where Joey was presumably making himself another cup of coffee. "You're up early." I said with a giggle as I wrapped my arms around his waist as he gently laid his arm on my lower back as he used his free hand to finish making his own cup of coffee. "Coffee must of just been calling my name." Joey said with a small laugh. "You want a cup?" Joey spoke up again as he looked to me with a smile. "Do you even have to ask." I said with a large smile causing Joey to laugh which made me laugh. I stayed latched to his side and he continued to keep his arm around me as he began to make me a cup. "I kinda like this cuddly side of you." Joey said as he finished pouring the coffee into the cup. "You are just like hugging a warm blanket." I said with a laugh. "Here ya go." Joey said handing me my cup. "Thank you." I said as we walked back to the living room. "What are the plans for today babe?" I asked as I turned on the tv to the news. "Well theres still that waffle house plan for tonight if you're up for it. Theres also this mall really close to the hotel and I thought we could go on a shopping date or just window shopping if you don't really want to buy anything." Joey said before taking a sip from his coffee then putting his feet on the coffee table. "Well I'm definitely up for the waffle house tonight, and I'd love to have a shopping date with you." I said with a smile before following suit of Joey and taking a sip from my own cup. Joey smiled as his answer. "Want to leave in about an hour? The mall is walking distance." Joey said. "Sounds good to me! Hopefully you don't mind me wearing minimal makeup today. I said shifting positions on the couch. "Makeup or no makeup, you're still the most beautiful girl in the world." Joey said as he lightly blushed. I just rolled my eyes and leaned over to kiss his cheek. "You always know how to make me get all blushy." I said with a smirk as my cheeks began to glow with a blush. Joey just giggled to himself as he brought his attention back to the news.
