Yusho went back home to pick up the pets, and brought them to the beach house. As he walked into the entry hall, he called out, "Yuya, come get Core, because I am NOT opening that carrier again!"
Yuya came up the stairs and into the entry hall, followed by Yuto, Yuri, Yugo, and Zarc. All of them could hear Core hissing and spitting from inside the carrier. Core did not like Yusho at all, and he made his hatred of the man very, very clear. Zarc snickered, pleased to have a pet that shared his disdain for the older man.
As soon as Yuya stepped into the entry hall, Core calmed down and began meowing. Clearly he could smell Yuya's scent. Core simply adored his tomato-haired human, and he seemed to like Yuto, Yuri, Yugo, and Zarc as well. He didn't like Yoko much, merely tolerating her as a can opener for his food.
"Hey, Core!" Yuya said, kneeling down beside the carrier. Core pawed at the carrier door, meowing incessantly. Yuya opened the door and the cat darted out, rubbing happily against his human. "Heya, buddy! It's okay! We've got a new home now, see?"
Core curiously began sniffing around as Yusho let all the other pets out of their carriers. All the pets seemed quite excited for the new house.
"We may need to add pet doors to the doors in the house," Yusho said thoughtfully. "Particularly in the laundry room with the litter box, and in the locker room door, so that the cats have easy access. I'll go ahead and pick some up at the store real quick."
"You're just trying to get away from Core," Zarc said with a smirk. Yusho headed out the front door, "Maybe!"
