Zarc's Yuus

Yuu Cuddles

Zarc sat in the living room, watching a duel on the giant TV in dissatisfaction. The duel was entertaining enough and the giant TV was very high quality, but that wasn't what was making Zarc feel unsatisfied. He was in dire need of cuddles. Yuu cuddles. But this house was so big he didn't know where the closest of his Yuus were.

Welp, it seemed that it was time for a Yuu hunt! Zarc turned the TV off and got up from the sofa. Walking out of the living room, he peered into the art studio next door. No Yuus there. He'd hoped that Yuto might be painting, but alas.

So Zarc checked the gym. No Yuus in the locker room or the laundry room either. The bathroom was empty too. Yusho was in the gym lifting weights, but there was a significant lack of Yuus.

"Oh, hello Zarc," Yusho said when he saw the asparagus-haired boy. Zarc looked at him silently for a moment before turning around and leaving without a word. He heard the older man's bemused voice behind him, "Okay, bye then."

Zarc went next door and checked the zen room. No Yuus here either. Zarc checked the massage parlor and the two saunas. Still no Yuus. How disappointing. He checked the kitchen and saw Yoko at the stove. When she saw him she smiled.

"Hello, Zarc!" she said. "Do you need something?"

"Yes, have you seen my Yuus?" Zarc asked. "I require Yuu cuddles."

Yoko blinked. "Well, Yuya and Yugo asked for some bubble tea a few minutes ago," she said, gesturing toward the pot on the stove. "So I'm whipping up some tapioca pearls for them. I think they went to play in the arcade while they wait. As for Yuri and Yuto, I saw them reading in the library not too long ago."

Zarc immediately left the kitchen and went into the arcade next door. Sure enough, Yugo and Yuya were there playing the motorcycle racing game together.

"Yugo, no! Not the kangaroos!" Yuya exclaimed as Yugo ran over some virtual kangaroos while trying to take a shortcut off the track. Yugo pouted, "Why is my bike slowing down?"

"Cuz going off the track slows your bike down," Yuya replied. "It's to stop players from cheating! Cheating like you're trying to do!"

Yugo groaned and maneuvered his bike back onto the track as Zarc approached. Two Yuus, ready to be snatched and cuddled! Yugo was the closer Yuu, so he was Zarc's target. The asparagus-haired boy's fingers flexed, eager to snatch his Yuu. But he wasn't going to snatch Yugo up while he was busy having fun, oh no. That would be rude! Zarc waited for the blunana to finish his race, watching in anticipation.

Yugo's attempt to cheat with a shortcut cost him the race, and Yuya crossed the finish line in first place with a cheer. Yugo pouted as his bike crossed the finish line in seventh place. "I'll win next time!" he said, climbing off the bike controller. "Oh, hey Zarc! What's up—WAH!"

As soon as Yugo was off the bike, Zarc snatched him up. Before the Synchro reincarnation realized what was happening, Zarc was holding him like a tournament trophy and making his way toward the arcade exit. Yugo squirmed trying to get out of his grasp. "Zarc! Put me down!"

"No," Zarc said. "I require Yuu cuddles. Right now. Immediately. At once."

"Okay, I get it, but I can walk you know!" Yugo protested as he was carried out of the arcade. He heard Yuya giggling, and saw Yuto and Yuri poke their heads out of the library to see what the commotion was all about. "Oh, c'mon Zarc! Why me?"

"Cuz you were the closest Yuu," Zarc replied, carrying Yugo to the kitchen. There was a kotatsu table in the middle of the room, and Zarc sat down at it, holding Yugo in his lap and cuddling him. Yoko stifled a laugh when she saw Zarc holding the blunana like a trophy. "The bubble tea is ready!" she said, placing five cups on the kotatsu.

"Aw, yeah!" Yuya exclaimed, coming into the kitchen. Yuto and Yuri followed close behind, and the three of them sat down at the kotatsu with Yugo and Zarc to drink their bubble tea.

Zarc pulled his four Yuus closer to him, enjoying their presence. His dire need for Yuu cuddles was sated, and he was now quite cozy and satisfied.
