Zarc's Yuus

Docile

Yuya woke up a couple hours later to the feeling of a hand softly stroking his tomato fluff. He smiled contentedly and nuzzled the hand, hearing a familiar chuckle. "Morning Zarc!"

"Good morning, Yuya," Zarc said. "That's three Yuus awake, one to go!"

Yuya opened his eyes and smiled up at Zarc, before looking around happily. Yuto and Yuri were outside on the rooftop garden enjoying the fresh air, while Yugo was sprawled on the bed on the other side of Zarc. Zarc chuckled as he looked down at the blunana. "You're all adorable when you sleep!"

"Oh, not you too," Yuya shook his head. "Yuri always liked to watch me when I slept when we were one."

"Completely understandable," Zarc said with a grin. "Like I said, you're all adorable."

"Plus, if something happened, I could take control of Yuya's body and protect him," Yuri said, having overheard the conversation. "Now if something happens, I'll wake everyone up to alert you."

"Yes, you always were a very light sleeper," Zarc agreed, his grin replaced by a scowl. "Akaba Leo is to blame for that. My poor sweet blossom."

Yuri's cheeks flushed pink and he looked away, a little flustered at the nickname. He'd become much more docile ever since the Yuus became one, no doubt thanks to the fact that he was no longer under Akaba Leo's control. Sure, he could still be a bit mischievous and was very proud, but he wasn't nearly as cruel as he used to be, and he certainly wasn't a sadistic narcissist anymore. Those were all traits that had been trained into him by the Professor. Seeing Yuri's flustered state was a good reminder to the others just how much of his personality during the war wasn't actually him.

Yuto smiled at Yuri, "Why don't I make us some breakfast. I'm sure we'll all be hungry by the time Yugo wakes up!"

"Yes, breakfast sounds good," Yuri agreed. "Preferrably with a nice tea."

"You got it!" Yuto said, standing up. "I'll be back with some tea before you know it!"
