Zarc and Yuto were down in the kitchen for a while, long enough for Yuya and Yuri to finish their tea. By the time they came back with breakfast, Yugo was waking up.
"What did you make for breakfast?" Yuri asked. Yuto and Zarc responded by placing two trays with several plates on the nightstand. There were a variety of different kinds of pancakes on the plate, but one of the plates was not like the others. That plate had a pile of waffles on it.
Yuya looked at the plate of waffles, and couldn't help giggling a little. "Who made the waffles?" he asked. Zarc raised his hand with a grin, "Me!"
For some reason, Yuya seemed to think the random waffles were the funniest thing in the world. His laughter was infectious, and soon all the Yuus and Zarc were laughing along with him.
Yusho and Yoko awoke to the sound of the boys' laughter. Yoko smiled, shaking her head. It really was good to hear Yuya laugh properly again.
