Nika was abruptly woken up a few days later by an excited Junko, he just missed her legs as he jumped on her bed, laughing. "Right, right I'm up!" She groaned, he jumped off but bounced on the spot as she raised an eyebrow at him. "What's going on Junko?" She asked, suspicious of his happiness, this made his wide grin even bigger. "My nephew Tynki is coming over!" He babbled as he got even more excited, Nika raised her eyebrows as her jaw dropped – she heard stories from Junko about his family, Tynki popped up quite a lot and he was a lot of mischief. "As in baby Tynki?" She asked slowly, she didn't have a lot of experience with kids both at home or on Atmosia and from each interaction – she didn't get on well with them, what was she going to be like with a baby Wallop?! "Yeah! Isn't it great?" He grinned darting off before she could answer, with a sigh she got dressed and walked to the bridge. "Morning..." She greeted, lazily sitting beside Finn on the couch and released another sigh. "What's wrong with your face?" Finn asked, wondering why Nika looked a bit fed up. "Nothing but ask me again and I'll give people a reason to ask you that." She replied, not in the mood for his hilarity now in the morning, Finn rolled his eyes, knowing she was still upset with him from Terra Amazonia. "Whatever, only asked." He muttered under his breath. "Haha! Look who's here!" Junko sang, holding a baby Wallop in his arms, everyone gathered in front of them, not reacting well at all.
"Uh Junko? When did we agree on this?" Aerrow asked, shocked that there was a baby Wallop in the Condor, it smiled innocently at everyone oblivious to the situation. "Oh, I was only asked like an hour ago, sorry it's short notice." Junko replied, giving Tynki a tickle on the belly who giggled as he looked up at Junko. "We're talking major problem!" Finn announced, he feared children – they just laughed, cried and made a mess and that was just human babies, never mind baby Wallops! "There's no way we can deal with this!" Piper agreed, though it was for an entirely different reason – the Storm Hawks were about to come head to head with Snipe and a battleship that he was having created, she didn't want a baby getting up in it. Bringing a baby along is just plain dangerous! "We've been through worse!" Aerrow tried to reassure his team, Stork made a sceptical noise, making the Sky Knight re-think his words. "Well, maybe not." He admitted, Nika rolled her eyes – it was just a baby, you'd think it came from the Wastelands or Cyclonia. "Radarr!" She scolded, after hearing him growl at the Wallop. "I think we will be using the words: Terror, Disaster and Ruin very soon." Stork spoke, easy to see what his opinions on kids were. "Guys! It's only for a few hours, really!" Junko moaned, feeling cornered as he cradled a now sleeping Wallop. "A baby Wallop, how bad can that be?" Tynki woke up from his very short nap and giggled, Nika smiled – it couldn't be that bad, could it?
Nika soon found herself babysitting with Junko, it was rather amusing seeing everyone freak out over a baby. "So, let me get this straight: you guys are happy enough to dive into the Wastelands, fight Cyclonians, go in to the Black Gorge and face the Murk Raiders but scared of a baby?" Nika laughed as she rolled a ball on the floor for Tynki who power crawled after it, Stork glared at the female Sky Knight, pointing a finger at her. "At no point, did I ever say I was happy!" He snapped, Nika giggled and waved her fingers at Tynki – he laughed and reached for her as he came back with the ball. "He's not causing any harm." She cooed, Aerrow smiled in her direction making Piper nudge him wiggling her eyebrows suggestively. "Nika's good with kids, quite cute, isn't it?" She smiled knowing it would make Aerrow blush and look, inwardly squealing when he did. Nika already knew Piper's plan – her part was to follow Aerrow and Finn's disguise of janitors on Snipe's ship, not the most thrilling job but those two were useless when it came to mechanics. Nika balanced the Wallop on her hip as Junko went to the bathroom, he didn't pull her hair like she thought he would – he just made baby noises as he stared up at her, she was worried that she was doing something wrong.
