Turns out, the Talons hadn't ever heard of sleep and chased the Storm Hawks till early the next morning – safe to say that most regretted when Nika, with an hour's sleep and extremely ticked off persona, emerged from the Condor and executed her Sky Knight ability four times in a row before Aerrow and Piper forced her to go back to the Condor. "Yeah, I'm scared of her." Stork commented, not sounding afraid but he was more anxious than normal around her. "She's going to exhaust herself!" Piper exclaimed, as she watched Nika tear back out of the Condor with a loud yell, Aerrow ran out of the bridge – knowing he was about to get yelled at for not stopping the brunette. "Junko, Finn! C'mon!" He shouted before taking off with Radarr, seeing that Nika was getting slower with her movements made him go faster towards her, swords drawn.

"What's wrong? Are you too tired?" One Talon teased as he edged towards her, Nika shot her head up and fired a paralyser shot at him, successfully freezing him and slipped from his skimmer. With an aggravated sigh, Nika turned her skimmer to face the Condor and saw a flash of familiar red hair racing towards her. "Hey!" She chirped despite her tiredness, he frowned at her. "Get back in the Condor now! You're exhausted!" He yelled, hovering beside her Nika just scoffed at his orders and mock saluted. "Okay sure, whatever." She replied pretending to sound defeated, Aerrow made the mistake of turning his back to her – believing that Nika went back to the Condor. He relished in winning an argument against the brunette with a smile and crossed arms. Radarr began to shriek loudly making the Sky Knight turn his head, more Talons had arrived and Nika was fighting them! "Nika..." He growled racing down to help get rid of the Talons with his squadron, he couldn't help but chuckle though – nothing was going to stop her once her mind was made up.

"Everyone split!" Aerrow yelled, ducking as the Talons fired at him. Nika growled and tore off after two of them while two chased Aerrow, barely managing to keep up with them. Nika got preoccupied with fighting the Talons she chased, it was an easy fight for the Storm Hawks, but something felt off to the brunette. She stopped to catch her breath when Aerrow played a game of 'chicken' with a Talon who had blinked and crashed into another Talon throwing him off it and hurtling towards the Wastelands. "Deploy your parachute..." She mumbled with a frown, when the Talon didn't she decided against her better judgement and chased after him and caught the unconscious Cyclonian. "Got ya, hang on. You're different." Nika spoke to herself, retreating to a small terra to find out who the Talon was – Aerrow and Finn following her for backup. "Alright, let's see what's-." Nika started before removing the helmet and stopping when a girl of eleven looked up at the trio in slight fear of what they would do now that they had captured her. "Going on..." Nika finished, dropping the helmet in shock – this was practically herself when she was child, it made her sick. "He's a she. And she's just a kid!" Aerrow exclaimed, the word 'kid' seemed to put down the young Talon's spirit, Nika looked at her sympathetically. Suddenly a Talon shot at the three, making them dive out of the way, he then grabbed the young Talon and took her away from the Storm Hawks, it scared Nika that she didn't fight back. "She's also one of ours!" He exclaimed before flying away, Nika sat in the dirt with clenched fists – this was wrong, this war was wrong. She felt incredibly guilty for what her terra had done – the exact same thing and she felt no longer able to justify it. Aerrow knelt down beside her, having a rough idea what the brunette was feeling. "Nika, your terra did this because they had no choice-." He began before she abruptly stood up and ran off to her Skimmer and racing back to the Condor. Finn frowned in confusion and worry, "What's wrong with her?" He asked, Aerrow sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Nika was a child soldier herself, Yaris have been training kids for a hundred years now." He explained, Finn grimaced at the thought, it explained why Nika froze when she saw the kid. "Man, that's harsh." He said, feeling sorry for the brunette. "C'mon, let's get back to the Condor." Aerrow urged, wanting to see how Nika was – Nika didn't want to be official until she was comfortable, something that bothered Aerrow but accepted it nonetheless.
