The next morning, Nika woke up bright and early, getting dressed she made herself some toast and a glass of fruit juice waiting for Stork to realise that she was casually sitting behind him. About two minutes later, he spun round with a choked-out sound of fright. "Morning." She greeted trying not to snigger at his reaction. "Oh, how I wish it wasn't." He grumbled with disgust written all over his face, "I've had enough of Piper squealing already." Nika shrugged and cleaned her dishes then went in search of her best friend, she skipped along the corridor – full of energy for the day. "Morning Nika, woah hey!" Aerrow greeted before she spun him around in a circle and continued down the corridor. "O-k..." He thought aloud, what in Atmos was that about? Shaking his head, he went to the bridge to find Stork steering, "Where we are heading?" He asked casually, Stork tensed getting another fright. "I swear if one more person sneaks up on me today – they will wish they were never born." He muttered darkly, Aerrow sighed. "Stork?" He pressed, Stork turned to face him. "Piper said we're going to some Ancient City – possibly our doom." He answered, grinning at the thought of doom. Said person wandered in smiling brightly at the two present Storm Hawks, "Wait for it." Stork grimly informed, Aerrow raised an eyebrow jumping back when Piper was bouncing on her heels in excitement. "We are meeting the Domiwick!" She squealed, Stork cowered behind Aerrow with the noise. Nika bounced and jumped on Piper's back, they both fell on the floor laughing. "Stop squealing!" Nika called, mock slapping the tactics expert before casually sitting on top of her. At this point, everyone else woke up and sauntered in, "DOG PILE!" Junko yelled before landing on top of the girls. "Junko!" Piper hissed, getting crushed beneath his weight, he quickly scrambled off the girls and lifted them up. "Good morning to you too Junko!" Nika exclaimed, slightly sarcastic still lying on the floor since everyone no bothered helping her up and she was rather comfortable.

Much to Stork's disgust, he joined the Storm Hawks to meet Domiwick, Nika travelled between Junko and Piper, more focused on where she was going rather than Piper gush about some explorer who's name ringed a bell – probably something to do with home but she wasn't sure. As Piper listed what was so good about Domiwick, Nika smirked at Aerrow – "You had to ask didn't you?" He sighed as Piper continued, "You'd think she didn't have a boyfriend!" Finn grumbled, jealousy shining through. "Maybe she's thinking about you as well?" Nika suggested before they arrived at some tents in a clearing. "Oh my gosh! We're here, Domiwick is here! Nobody freak out, is my hair ok? Have I got anything stuck in my teeth?" She babbled, Nika rolled her eyes – again questioning what was so brilliant about this guy. "The only one who is freaking out is you." She simply noted, Piper stopped fretting and bashfully giggled. While everyone else joined Piper, Nika hung back – not being one for meeting new people. She preferred to hang back and see what she thought before joining in – it served her well with "Lark" and even when she was at home, "And humble. Don't forget humble." Aerrow smiled sarcastically, great this guy had an ego.

"So, who is your friend over there?" Domiwick asked spotting a brunette who was more interested in her nails than him. "That's Nika, she's our weapons expert." Piper gleefully explained, deflating when Domiwick ignored her and made his way towards the brunette. "I give it three seconds of him speaking before she threatens him." Finn smirked to Junko, Nika by this point turned her attention to a smiling Domiwick. "You know I prefer when fans give me space." He smiled flirtatiously, Nika looked around her – who was he talking about? "Me? No, I'm not a fan." She asked before simply stating that she wasn't interested, returning her gaze to her nails. "Really? Your face is familiar, is it the face of a goddess?" He flirted with a smile that rivalled Finn's for most annoying, Nika scoffed completely unflattered by the compliment. "If I was then I'd happily smite you." She replied coolly, leaning back on her skimmer. Domiwick huffed a little and turned back to the Storm Hawks, Finn and Junko struggling to contain their snorts and laughter, just managing to hold it in until her passed by them. "You've come at an exciting time." Dom smiled leading the Storm Hawks, minus Nika to his tent – yes, she was being rude, but she was fed up with listening to Piper fangirl and Finn complain out of jealousy and she wasn't going to listen Domiwick either. "I'm about to lead the first expedition to explore the mysteries of the forbidden city." Dom's voice trailed off, the further he got away – Nika silently cheered throwing both hands in the air as if she scored a goal. Within a few minutes, the Storm Hawks ran out screaming about Snipe and Cyclonians. Nika abruptly sat up and sped off behind Aerrow to escape. "Can we add "idiot" to your list Piper?" Nika hollered, it made Finn snicker – at least she cheered someone up.
