Nika sat cross-legged on the infirmary bed as she had an assortment of drawings and metals in front of her, she was bored of being stuck in bed, but she no longer had the energy to argue with Piper about it. Much to Stork's protest, Junko had kindly brought Nika her equipment, knowing she would end up as insane as the Merb if she had to count the ceiling tiles for the five hundredth time, when Piper found Nika innocently fiddling with inventions – her shriek was enough to distract Stork and the ship lurched, now it was rather peaceful. The brunette smiled a little seeing that her present for Aerrow was taking good shape and despite Stork's paranoia that it would destroy the infirmary – it hadn't. His birthday was in three weeks and she hoped that he would like her present, though her friends tried to convince her that he would love it.

"Though I'm sure he'd like something else a lot more..." Finn smirked staring Nika down – for him it had been great that she wasn't allowed to leave her bed, it meant that he could relentlessly tease her and get away with it. Piper elbowed him in the ribs, a bit harsh for his liking as he winced. "Stop being such a pig!" Piper scolded aiming a slap for his head but missed due to him dodging, Nika raised an eyebrow, mentally questioning if this was how couples in general acted or if Piper and Finn had one of those "love-hate" relationships. Being the oblivious one, she didn't understand what the sharpshooter meant but it intrigued her nonetheless. "What do you mean?" She asked stretching to touch her toes. Finn looked down in mild disgust at the brunette – she was far too flexible to be normal in his opinion. "Ugh! That's just not natural." He grimaced, Nika looked up from her shins and raised an eyebrow. "Eh? Just answer the question already!" She replied, annoyed that he changed subject again. "Nah, the moment's gone!" He exclaimed over dramatically as he left the room, Nika made a move to follow but Piper sent a hardened look that basically meant – "You move, and you will stay here longer."

"What did you mean, Finn?" The brunette murmured as she spun a screw in the weapon hilt, she was distracted enough to catch the tip of her finger. "Ow!" She yelped pulling her finger away and sticking it in her mouth in attempt to soothe it. Aerrow ran into the infirmary believing that the brunette had somehow got out of bed and fallen again, he released a sigh when he saw that she was still in bed. Nika's blue eyes flickered to the door, letting out a yelp she threw the blanket over his present as her mind registered that he had probably seen it. "You ok?" He asked, oblivious to her distressed look as he walked in and sat on the chair beside the bed. Nika huffed out a few breaths, trying to calm herself, she frowned when he never left. "You spend too much time here." She coldly spoke, Aerrow laughed – finding it rather amusing. "Fair point and?" He teased as a sly grin spread on his features. "And you look creepy when you smile like that." She retorted feeling rather cornered and stressed. "And?" He repeated as he stood up and leant closer, he felt rather brave around her for once and watching her grow red in the cheeks made it more satisfying. "Y-you stalk me!" She yelped, Aerrow mentally smirked – she was running out ideas. "That's the first I've heard you complained." He smiled, Nika grew red in the cheeks and opened her mouth a few times trying to force a witty response but failed. "Ugh, whatever!" She huffed inspecting her finger, now sporting a rather strange purple bruise. Aerrow smirked, now he could really freak her out – quickly he snatched her hand and kissed her sore finger, making sure he locked eyes with her. "GAH!" She spluttered, pulling her finger away from him feeling conscious of her cheeks burning red. "What was that?!" She yelled, Aerrow chuckled and kissed her cheek before darting off. "I made you smile, I win!" He cheered, poking his head around the corner, a small blush on his face but grinned brightly. "I didn't smile!" She yelled after him, using a pillow as something to throw at him. "Oh, yes you did!" He hollered his voice fading as he disappeared to another part of the Condor. Nika touched her cheek, her tanned fingers brushing the spot lightly as she found herself smiling. "Guess you're right." She murmured quietly.
