It had been a quiet week for the Storm Hawks that much that Nika found out that she can balance a spoon on her nose, also Finn and Piper hadn't argued at all. Stork had betted Junko that they were imposters and the real Piper and Finn were somewhere else, however Junko betted that the pair were seeing one another. Nika sighed as she stared out of the window, her drawings in her lap and a pencil in her left hand – she knew that the pair was trying to sort out their differences, though Nika had found out that they were also seeing each other. She was a bit jealous, not knowing what it was like to be liked in that way. "Hello?" Aerrow's voice sounded, Nika blinked and looked at him – before she registered that he was staring right at her and she yelped falling off her seat with paper flying everywhere. With a pout she sat up, one of her drawings landing on her head, Aerrow laughed and helped her up. "Sorry, you're awfully... distant." Aerrow smiled pleasantly, Nika shrugged in response before helping her pick up her drawings. "What ya working on?" He asked, trying hard to decipher her scribbles, with pink cheeks Nika gently took it off him – she was rather self-conscious that she couldn't read or write and constantly worried that someone would find out. "Um... just bouncing ideas right now. Nothing brilliant." She answered airily, her best ideas came when Piper yelled at Finn – the best she could come up with was an improvement to her discs, changing them to stars. "Don't be silly, all of your ideas are brilliant." Aerrow grinned, he was gradually getting more comfortable to speaking to Nika without feeling like he would melt on the spot. "Nah, anyway!" She drawled out, What's up? Nika desperately wanted to change the subject away from her drawings – heck she'd talk about the Dark Ace if that's what it took. "Um, I was just wondering if you'd look at my swords – see if there's anything that you can do to improve them." He asked, rubbing the back of his neck, his eyes casting downwards. "Sure, what have you got in mind?" Nika smiled feeling comfortable again as she tilted her head to the side. "I was uh hoping you would have some ideas." Aerrow admitted, shifting on his feet. Nika giggled, when was Aerrow out ideas? "C'mon." She smiled, heading to the hangar with him hesitantly following behind.

Aerrow watched as Nika threw some metal and a summoning crystal together, it was a small device – he smiled, quite fascinated with the female Sky Knight. When she held out her hand, wanting his swords, he grabbed her hand and when he realised she didn't ask for his hand, his cheeks flared red as he pulled his hand back in embarrassment. "S-sorry I uh-." He stammered, Nika frowned and put her hand to his forehead – he looked rather ill. "Are you ok? You look quite unwell. Hmm, no fever but why are your cheeks red?" She asked, not understanding that he had a hopeless crush on her, Aerrow screwed his eyes shut otherwise he would probably do the ultimate thing to ruin a friendship. "No reason, so..." He replied as she tinkered with both of his swords – having bought his excuse easily, he trailed off when her blue eyes locked with his for a moment. "Right, take this sword and this device – the button allows you to summon them if you have been disarmed. Alright, battle position – it needs tested out." She explained, he grinned knowing he was going to get a spar. He made a swing for her, she did a walkover and clashed weapons – she was quicker than he thought but she wasn't going to let her win. He tripped her up, she responded with tripping him up and sliding away from him. "Come on Aerrow!" She laughed, "You scared of me?" He frowned and charged, outsmarting her by making her think she was getting swung at and disarmed her, as she reached for it – Aerrow pressed the button and it came back to him! "Wow..." He breathed, Nika lay on the floor – not moving, Aerrow panicked and ran over to her. "Are you ok?" He asked as he rolled her over, instantly her blue eyes opened, and she lightly kicked him away as she got to her feet. "I didn't say I was done." She smiled, brandishing her two swords and quickly disarming him. He flipped over to them and grabbed them to stop her swinging down on him, they spent five minutes dodging and attacking one another. Nika's eyes widened as Aerrow managed to disarm her – holding one sword to her neck. "Fine, you win." She huffed like a child, Aerrow drew back his sword and stepped closer, what did he have to lose – other than his friendship?
