"It's awfully cloudy today isn't it?" Nika thought aloud, Stork sighed – he hated storms, well anything that could be hiding in them as well but either way he wasn't happy about it. "Oh, unfortunately. Hopefully anything that decides to attack gives us a quick end." He rambled, Nika rolled her eyes and playfully nudged him, he tensed and jumped away from the brunette. "Agh! Keep your optimism away from me!" He shrieked before turning back to his beloved controls with an irked expression though he did have a malicious smirk. "You'll be the first to go." He muttered with a shake of the head. Nika laughed and sauntered away, recently she had felt more content with who she was and with Aerrow's birthday the next day – she felt like she was on cloud nine. Piper skipped in and dragged Nika to her room without a word, Radarr paused in the corridor seeing the girls rushing about, with a sly grin he snuck after them and listened in. "Everything's all set! I can't believe he's going to be fifteen!" Piper squealed quietly, "This is why you dragged me in here?" Nika replied, a small smile on her face. "Oh! I figured out a way to get you two alone tomorrow!" Piper smiled, handing Nika pieces of paper and pen. "Um, what?" Nika asked, she was confused and now worried that Piper would find out she couldn't read or write. "I thought that if you wrote some clues to lead him to the roof then you two would confess and get together-!" She stopped herself, realising she may have just saved Nika the trouble of finding out from Aerrow himself. Nika raised an eyebrow, rather suspicious of what Piper said. "What do you mean, the two of us would confess?" She asked slowly, hoping she had heard Piper right. "Never mind that! Now get writing some clues!" She exclaimed, pointing to the pieces of paper. "Wouldn't it be a bit obvious if I wrote them?" Nika asked trying to keep her voice level despite the panic she was feeling, hoping Piper would do it since she obviously couldn't. "That's right! I never thought of that! Make sure you leave the party after Aerrow cuts his cake and go to the roof." She grinned before writing some clues down, "Oh this is so exciting!" She squealed as scribbled furiously, Nika chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"Storm Hawks, meet me on Amazonia. I need backup for a mission. A big one." Starling's voice called through the communications, Piper squealed and quickly began to hide everything relating to Aerrow's surprise party, just in case said person came in. Radarr ran away from the door when the two girls made their way to it, he was rather intrigued at the idea of Piper helping the two teenagers get together. He jumped onto Nika's back as she walked to the bridge, he was rather excited about Aerrow's birthday as well. His present was not to tease him about his feelings for the brunette for an entire day.

Starling was already at Amazonia and quickly boarded the Condor, Stork wasn't eager to find out what the big mission was, so he stayed at his post while everyone gathered at the seating area. The brunette casually tossed an apple between her hands as she listened, sitting on the back of the seat with her feet where people would normally sit. "Okay Starling, where to?" Aerrow asked, glancing at Nika quickly and smiling. "East. High and fast. One of our worst fears have been realised – don't even think about it." She began to explain, holding a finger up to Nika, telling her to keep her smart alec remark to herself – she didn't have time for it. Nika huffed but smirked none the less. "The Cyclonians have discovered Polaris Point and it appears that they are setting up a massive energy cannon." She explained, Nika blinked in surprise – how did the Cyclonians manage that? "Um... what's a Polaris Point?" Junko asked, making sure not to accidently hit Nika as he brought his arms forward from behind his head. "A terra!" Piper smiled, opening a map to show a small terra with dense clouds on either side. "The problem is the location, around here all ships have no choice but to pass that point." She explained before Nika crunched into her apple loudly making everyone look at her. "Sorry." She muttered before taking a quieter bite. "What's the big deal? Just fly around it!" Finn suggested, why everyone was making it more complicated than it needed to be, well in his mind anyway. "Except that's impossible! With deadly storms on either side, there's only one way through this entire area!" Piper explained, Finn had lost interest and began to roll his head back onto the couch. "An energy blaster on the point will cut off innocent terras. The Cyclonians could take over the whole quadrant." Starling continued quickly, Nika finished her apple and listened to her friend in interest. "Looks like we have an energy blaster to take out!" Aerrow smiled while rubbing his hands together, Starling leant on the table. "Oh, we're not just taking out the blaster. I want to take out Polaris Point, for good!" Nika whistled lowly, Starling gets a bit too serious for her liking but hey, she had a really good point. Needless to say, it shocked the rest of the Storm Hawks, but they quickly saw it was for the better good.
