According to Piper, there was some crystal that Cyclonis was interested in and they had to get to it before she did. Nika didn't really pay attention – more focused on her latest invention, well Aerrow's birthday present to be exact but no one really questioned it. She sat in the hangar, working on the dagger collection – knowing Aerrow preferred small weapons and listening for ideas from her friends. "Finn, don't you dare." She sternly spoke, feeling his presence behind her – he huffed dropping his arms and blew out a raspberry. "Oh man." He complained before retreating to his skimmer in a huff, Nika turned and raised her eyebrow before bursting out laughing at her friend's outfits. Piper as Ravess, Junko as Snipe, Stork as some musician with Aerrow the same and Finn carried a puppet stall. "I'm sorry but I can't take this seriously now." She laughed, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Don't know what you're laughing at, you've to dress up too." Finn grumbled resisting the temptation to throw the puppet stall at the brunette. "Oh really?" She sassed walking up to him, hand on her hip. "Yeah, you're going to dance to Aerrow's music with Radaar." Piper explained with a giggle, throwing Nika a strange outfit to change into. The brunette examined the blue material – it was a gypsy style, something she was rather familiar with on Terra Yaris, she raised an eyebrow as she looked up at Piper. "Look she can't say a word!" Finn laughed elbowing Junko, he chuckled seeing the perplexed look on Nika's face – Piper smirked at Aerrow. "I hate dresses Piper-." Nika began to complain before the crystal expert interrupted. "It's for the mission – change now!" She ordered, pointing a finger to the sleeping quarters, huffing Nika made her leave.
With a sigh, the brunette examined the dress – not one for wearing them, only ever wore one when Yaris had an important event or court was in session – something that bored the young princess to no end. It was pretty - Piper had obviously worked hard on it, so she changed into it and to keep the charade going, the brunette untied her hair. A veil of light waves, quickly she threw her hair over her head and back, so it would look a little wild, she looked like a peasant dancer. Quickly Nika walked back to the hangar and hopped onto her Skimmer – pausing when she heard no one noise or even movement. "What's up guys?" She asked turning with a small frown, greeted with the sight of her friends staring – Nika felt self-conscious and looked at her dress and patted her face to see if there was anything on it. Piper was smiling, clasping her hands together, Finn was smiling but not in a flirtatious way, Junko was smiling as well, Stork was open mouthed as well as Aerrow, the latter blushing scarlet. "Wow..." He breathed with a smile, ending the awkward silence. "Oh, you look amazing!!" Piper squealed, bouncing on her heels, "C'mon! This is a time sensitive mission!" She shrieked speeding off followed by Junko, Finn and Stork (who hitched a ride with the sharpshooter). Aerrow coughed catching the brunette's attention, she turned and raised an eyebrow – why was her wearing a dress a big deal? "Um... you look lovely, um er..." He stuttered, the smile still on his face though it was more bashful than before, Nika smiled – he cute when he couldn't spit out words, she watched as he fidgeted with his hands. "What are you trying to say Sky Knight?" She giggled, hand on her hip he chuckled before letting his hand fall away from the back of his neck. "You're beautiful." He said simply, his green eyes locked into hers – this time Nika's cheeks flared up as she felt her jaw drop. "Um..." She began, finding herself speechless as Aerrow smiled at her, feeling as if she could melt on the spot. Say something witty! Say thank you! Say something! Recover Nika! She shouted in her head, opening and closing her mouth like an idiot fish. "I... uh... thanks." She smiled bashfully, adjusting her dress so she could sit on her Skimmer, breaking eye contact.
Radarr rolled his eyes, fed up that the pair wouldn't just admit their feelings and that they were not taking part in the mission – with a shrill shriek, he lightly punched Aerrow's ribs and nodded to the runway – a small glare on his features. "Sorry Radarr." He apologised before staring at Nika again, she was ready to go and raised her eyebrows at the Sky Knight. "I don't mind if you want to change outfits Aerrow – you only have to ask." She smirked playfully. "What? No, I'm not wearing a dress!" He replied, his cheeks flaring again now that he was caught staring. "Are you sure? I don't think a moustache is for you." She smiled, holding in a laugh, he didn't look right with one. "Let's just go!" He groaned, Nika released her laugh as they sped off for the terra. When they landed, Nika placed a hand on Aerrow's shoulder, mentally cursing that he was taller than her. "For what it's worth, I think you look handsome anyway." She smiled, he returned it with his arm snaking around her waist. "Thanks, um Nika?" He hesitantly asked, gazing at her. "Yes?" She replied, hope in her voice. "Hurry up!" Piper hissed, at the side of a tent – even Ravess wasn't as scary as Piper in a stressed mood and that is saying something.
