The Dark Ace sent Nika away to her accommodation once they disembarked their Skimmers in Cyclonia, thanks to the control he had over her – she immediately followed orders with no argument, and disappeared. "Dark Ace, Master Cyclonis wishes to speak with you, immediately." A guard addressed the Talon, he nodded and quickly made his way over to her crystal lab – knowing it was either a good thing or a really bad one, with a deep breath he entered the lab – her back was to the door. "You wished to speak to me Master." He bowed, his red eyes carefully watching her movements – she was royally peeved as she never turned to face him like she usually does. "I'm not impressed, not impressed at all." She began, her fingers working away at her machine. "The Storm Hawks still live, and I nearly lost my control over her! Aerrow has not to be near her again!" She calmly explained before exploding into a rage, whirling around to see the surprised face of her most trusted Talon. "Forgive my deceptiveness, Master Cyclonis. If I may ask, what is so important about keeping that Sky Knight away from her, apart from the obvious." The Dark Ace replied, taking a small bow then standing straight. "I combined a simple Mind Controlling Crystal with an Emotion Pulse Stone, giving the former crystal more power as it will now feed off Princess Nika's strongest emotions – her hatred for the Storm Hawks. It will keep her on my side, however – I don't know the circumstances of this relationship between Aerrow and herself – powerful emotions of love that work in the Storm Hawks favour will destroy the crystal and thus end my control." She explained, walking down the stairs to be on the same ground level as the Dark Ace. "That is why she must be kept away from him." She finished with a hiss and leaving the room.
Nika had been tasked to make weapons for Cyclonia, however it was noticed that she wasn't coming up with any bright ideas and those she did come up with were not much use. It infuriated Snipe, he had seen what she could create, in his mind he concluded that she was holding back. In truth, Nika's brightest ideas came when she was happy, not stuck in a rut of rage, despite that she couldn't make ideas at the drop of a hat – they came randomly. Snipe was also infuriated with Nika's drawings, seeing that she can't read and write well, even by Snipe standards – the brunette was illiterate and even more useless than him. "What is this?! You're supposed to be making plans!" He roared, snatching up some papers crumpling them in his fist as he got close to her face. Nika stopped what she was doing, slowly turning her head with a mean glare etched on her pretty features – making the brutish Talon step back. "Quiet you oaf, I can't concentrate with your existence nearby." She spat, Snipe had completely forgotten the plan to keep a friendly act when around Nika otherwise it would make the brunette think otherwise. "Get some work done!" He shouted, banging his fist on the table, spilling some papers to the floor, Nika rolled her red eyes – not caring about his opinion as she crossed her arms in annoyance refusing to work anymore, this angered Snipe and he brought his other his fist to her face. Nika flew back a few feet, landing harshly on her back before sitting up and clutching her now red cheek with a loud wince.
Snipe froze, someone was going to kill him for this, and gasped when Nika's eyes briefly turned blue before returning to their present red ones. "I-I am sorry!" He stuttered, the brunette threw her wrench smacking him in the nose, "Save it!" She hollered with a glower, running off to her room. "I saw that." Ravess called, Snipe stiffened and turned to face his sister. "Master Cyclonis will not be pleased. If you want to beat a Striking up then I suggest the older brat in the dungeons." She added, leaving the room also. Snipe smiled gleefully, Jor was a delightful punchbag – giving the muscular Talon hours of enjoyment as he let the brunette somewhat fight back. "Excellent idea sis!" He cheered after a few moments.
Nika stumbled into her room, slamming the door behind her before collapsing to her knees, an intense pain kept pulsing in her head. "ARGH!" She screamed, clutching her head – when Snipe punched her, she saw the faces of the Storm Hawks – encouraging her instead of shouting at the lack of progress. Despite having red eyes, the memories she had with the young squadron rushed through her mind, making her scream in agony more. Slowly the pain subsided, allowing Nika to sit up taking in a few deep breaths to compose herself – maybe she should tell Master Cyclonis, no - she didn't want to be interrupted. Another series of memories interrupted her recovery from the last wave, she screamed and bowed her head forward, small drops of red liquid fell from her face and onto the floor. "What?" She whispered hoarsely, touching her face gingerly, feeling sticky liquid coming from her eyes. Nika breathed in gasps as she pulled away her shaking hands, fingertips covered in blood. "W-what's happening to me?" She cried quietly before screaming again in agony, the brunette stopped screaming due to her falling unconscious.
