No,I'm not proud of my attitude.
I'm aware I came across bitter..cold...,And cruel..,But I don't see the point into Pretending to be happy.
It's more or less Faking it.
Lucas walked up to me and grinned,"Shall we meet Riley outside now?"
I smiled to be polite..for once,Only for Lucas's sake,"Sure,Let's go then,Cowboy."
He frowned at the me when I called him a cowboy,But even so,Continued to walk along side of me.
As we walked to meet Riley,Lucas looked...Happy,Whereas I was the complete opposite.
Why couldn't I make him that happy?
Why couldn't I be That girl?
Why cou- Never mind.
"Hey,Lucas!", She giggled,In a voice as sweet as ,'Sugar'.
" Hey!",He grinned at her,He nudged me in the arm,As if to say "Maya!Say hi!".
I was in no mood to be friendly, Not even with Riley,But I had to force myself for Lucas's sake.
" Hi",I smiled warmly at her,"Shall we get going then to your house?"
"Of course!", She replied back giggling," My daddy said he'd drive us home!"
Daddy?Seriously?
"When's your 'daddy' coming to pick us up then?"I asked her,I didn't want to wait all day for her father to come.
Riley was the last person I'd want to wait with.
" Her father is coming right now!",Said a cheery voice, coming from behind of me.
"Daddy!", She grinned," Meet Lucas,And Maya".
"Nice to meet you", He smiled,Taking out his hand for me and Lucas to shake it.
I obediently shook his hand, like Lucas did," Nice to meet you two,Mr Matthews."
He smiled and began walking over to his car,"Right,My princess can sit next to me,And you and Lucas can sit in the back,Is that alright,Maya?"
"That's fine", I replied back to him," Isn't it,Cowboy? "
He scowled at me,He still hadn't gotten used to the nicknames yet,"Yeah,it is,Isn't it pancakes?"
I frowned at him sternly, "It is indeed,Ranger Rick."
With that Mr Matthews began driving the car,Me and Lucas were silent, Whilst Riley and her father were singing in the car.

What is wrong with Maya?
My best friend,The one who's always been there for me,What's happened to her?
There's something....different about her,I'm dying to know what it is.
But she probably won't tell me..
But she'll have to tell me at one point or another,Right?
