I'm Not That Girl(Maya/Lucas/Riley)

Chapter 2.

Maya-

The new guy walked in the room,Causing everyone to stare at him,But there was something about him...That I felt I recognised.

"Lucas".I nudged him."Do we know that guy?"

Lucas looked at me thoughtfully," I-i don't know,But he looks familiar."

"He does".I replied back,Frowning at him."But he doesn't seem... I dunno... Good?"

"Maya".He chuckled,"You're not good,So why say that?"

"Pfft".I laughed,"I can be good Ranger Roy."

"Sure ya can".He laughed at me.

"Whatever Bucky Mc Boing Boing".I said,Grinning as Lucas rolled his eyes at me.

"Rebel".Said Lucas sternly.
I could only look at him,without saying anything when I heard him say this.

Rebel had a bad reputation, He'd been kicked out of So many schools they had no clue where to put him.

They put him once again in John Quincy Adams because they thought with are good reputation it would change Him into a "Gentleman".

But me and Lucas knew,Good or bad,No one could turn him into a gentleman.

At least that's what me and Lucas thought for that matter anyway.

Rebel walked in,His eyes meeting mine as his eyes focused on everyone," So,Is this the dump they've put me in then?".He asked,Folding his arms across his chest..

I stood up on the table fearlessly, "I despise school to be quite honest".I began," But,John Quincy Adams is not a dump".

Rebel walked on over to me and smirked."Oh really? ",He chuckled.

" Yes,Really." I frowned at him,"Trying on a bad boy act are you?Well,I'll guarantee you this,Anything you try,You won't get away with it ".

Rebel looked at me lost in thought before finally speaking once again," Hmmm". He simply spoke to me. "I could drop the bad boy act,Couldn't I?But could you drop the bad girl act then?"

I was lost for words when he said this,I was speechless,As if no words could come from my mouth,Causing Rebel to burst out laughing at me.

"Ah,So I see you couldn't then?". He said to me. " Then you know my answer for the question you just asked."

Lucas glared at Rebel,His crystal blue eyes going crimson with anger,"Don't you talk to Maya like that",Said furious Lucas,"Don't you dare hurt her,Or I'll hurt you".
Lucas pinned Rebel against the classroom wall,Rebel,For once,Looked frightened of what Lucas had done.

"I- I'll tell Mr Matthews on you!" Said Rebel furiously at Lucas.

I frowned at Lucas. " Stop,He isn't worth it".

Lucas gave Rebel one last glare before turning to look at me."I thought this was what you wanted,Maya!".

"He just wants you,To be like him". I said calmly," What would you want to be,The good guy here,Or the bad?"

"The good guy". Lucas replied back to me,Muttering it under his breath.

" Good".I replied back,Sitting down in my seat.

Riley walked up to Lucas,Smiling sweetly at him,"That took some courage to stand up to him,I'm proud of you".

Lucas grinned back,Looking extremely happy,"Really?You think so?"

"I know so!" She giggled,In a girlish matter,Causing me to role my eyes in return,But Riley simply ignored that,And so did Lucas.

" Wow,Thank you".He grinned at her,"Wanna sit together at lunch?"

"I'd love to!". She replied back to him,I looked at Farkle whose face had saddened deeply.

My face wasn't sad,But it wasn't happy,It was emotionless.
I couldn't feel any emotions,Nor did I want to,I honestly wasn't in the mood.

Lucas kissed her on the cheek happily," Great!Wanna sit next to me?"

Riley pointed towards me,"But She's sitting there..."

Lucas barely took a look at me and grinned to himself,"Maya can always move,Right Maya?"

"Right Lucas", I said,Picking my bag up off of the floor and sitting at the front of the class.

It was only the morning,And so far everything had gone wrong.

Lucas's POV-

Everything was going great today,Or so I thought, And it was only morning!

I had got my cru-I mean Riley to sit next to me,Just as I had always wanted.

Riley kept giving me glances every so often,And smiling at me sweetly like the old days.

I smiled back,Barely taking my eyes off of her,Knowing that no matter what happened,I wanted her to be Mine.
