"One, two, three, four!" Mina shouted, clapping her hands in time with her counting. "One, two, three, four! Spin and step back!"
They were practicing the routine that Mina had come up with for the opener of the concert. She had made Hitori try out all the moves the night before after she had gotten back from visiting Ru and Koja. Her logic was that if Hitori could learn them easily, everyone else could learn them too. But it also meant that Hitori had to help demonstrate sometimes.
"One, two, three, four!"
They were going through the dance moves at a slower speed than they would be doing for the song. It was a little boring. But watching her classmates struggle through it made it worthwhile. Uraraka and Tsuyu were catching on fast, but a few of the boys were doing a bit rough. Midoriya, Sato, and Aoyama looked awkward, Shoji didn't know what to do with all of his arms, and Ida was doing all of the moves robotically.
"One, two, turn, freeze!" Mina stopped clapping and put her hands on her hips. "Nice job, everyone! Let's take a water break before we move on to the next set!"
There was a collective sigh of relief from most of the dance squad. Hitori rolled her eyes. They were all being dramatic. This was the easy set.
She followed Mina over to where they had set their water bottles down.
"This is going a lot better than I thought it would," Mina said. "Everyone is learning pretty fast!"
"I told you they would be fine," Hitori said.
"Yeah, I know, but I'm still worried about some of them."
"At least Ida's not doing the robot anymore. If you can teach him, the rest will catch on in no time."
"Well, when you put it that way..." Mina smiled. "Yeah, you're right, Tori. Thanks!"
"Sure," Hitori said.
"Hey, you girls are pretty good at dancing," Mineta said as he walked up to them. "Think you could give me some private lessons?"
"No way, you can learn with everyone else right here!" Mina said sternly.
"Aw, come on! I really need help! Please, Hitori?"
Hitori narrowed her eyes at him. "No."
"I can help you out, Mineta," Midoriya said. He had walked over when he saw Mineta talking to them. "I don't have the best grasp on everything yet, but I'd be happy to practice with you!"
Mineta visibly deflated. "Do you really have to go ruining all my plans?"
"Thanks, Midoriya," Mina smiled.
"Oh, yeah, sure!" Midoriya said awkwardly.
"Alright!" Mina clapped her hands together and stood up. "Break time's over!"
Everyone made their way back and got into position. Much to Hitori's chagrin, Mineta ended up standing right next to her in the front row. Midoriya was on his other side. She did her best to ignore the glances Mineta was sending her way.
Mina started teaching them the next routine, which was a bit more complicated than the last one. After a while, she motioned for Hitori to come up to the front to demonstrate while she gave individual pointers. She continued clapping as she walked around.
Hitori was used to having eyes on her at this point, but she was painfully aware of Mineta's intense stare. His eyes roved her body, lingering on her butt for a bit too long. She rolled her eyes.
Disgusting.

That evening after dinner, Hitori didn't retreat to her room. Instead, she brought a book downstairs and sat down on one of the couches to read. After a few minutes, some of her classmates started drifting over. Mina sat down next to her and leaned up against her side.
