I hummed happily as I looked out the window of the car. We were on our way to the IHeart awards and unlike the Grammys, I felt an overwhelming sense of accomplishment and calm. Maybe it was the fact that most of the awards were fan voted and maybe it was because I technically already won something. Either way I wasn't worried about it.

"Travis?"

"Hmm?" He looked up from his phone.

"Are you still doing the carpet with me?"

"Of course baby, why would I put all those living room practices to waste." He grinned. "Besides, this is technically a couple's outfit, what kind of fiancé would I be if I made you do this alone?"

I smiled tilting my head down to hide the blush on my cheek. I was in a short white dress with Travis's black dress coat overtop and a black bowtie meanwhile he was in black dress pants and a white button up with the top few buttons undone. It was meant to look like I had stolen his tie and coat from the suit he had worn when he went on stage.

The car came to a halt and my eye's flickered behind his head peering out the window. Tree always arranged for me to arrive somewhere more private and secure for the sake of my security and I. Arriving in the big crowd of people and then having to navigate is far too much of a hassle.

I let out a long dramatic sigh once my feet hit the ground shaking my hands out next to my sides. "Ok let's do this." I said while moving my feet around.

"Let's do it!" Travis said a bit more excited than me. I laughed as he grabbed my hand pulling me towards the entrance.

My eye's scanned the room, Jack and Margaret came here separately claiming that they didn't want to be subjected to any more pda from Travis and me. I knew Austin was coming today and I was pretty sure Sabrina said she would be here.

Tree guided us over to where the carpet giving us a few instructions and a 'don't try anything' look before it was our turn. "Ready for it?" Travis asked grinning cheekily.

"You're worse than I am." I rolled my eyes.

"Impossible."

For the first time in a long while I didn't feel nervous walking down the carpet. Travis and I goofed off the whole way down, posing sweetly while whispering joked back and forth. At one point I could see Travis look over to the side making sure Tree wasn't watching before pulling me into a dip and kissing me. I let out a squeak in surprise before laughing and kissing him back. He held the pose for about five seconds and then pulled me back up giving a very sheepish look towards Tree.

"I gonna pay for that later." He muttered under his breath.

"Of definitely." I giggled. I let my gaze wander across the carpet, my eyes locking on a short blonde. "Sabrina!" I squealed slipping out of Travis's grasp running over to her.

"Tay!" She exclaimed stumbling over to me. "You look so good!"

"Thank you, you look beautiful." I hugged her tightly.

We posed for a few pictures together before walking over to Travis who was waiting off to the side letting us have our moment. "It's mom and dad." Sabrina said jokingly getting some chuckles from the crowd of people. "How have you been?" She asked once we were out of view of the cameras. "Still in that honeymoon stage." She smirked bumping her hip against me.

"As if they ever left it." Tree sighed.

"Yeah, but this is a new kind of honeymoon stage!" Sabrina defended subtlety holding up her left hand. "I'm still jealous."
