Travis snuck through the house trying his hardest not make any sounds as he searched for his target. He had an idea of where she might have snuck off to this late at night due to the many other times he had woken up to the other side of their bed being cold in the middle of the night. As he got closer, Travis could see the sliver of light shining beneath the door to the music room confirming his suspicions.
Still moving silently Travis nudged the door open peaking his head in just enough to see Taylor typing away on her phone, guitar resting on her lap with an array of papers scattered across the floor next to her. He stayed put waiting to see if she would notice his presence but after five minutes Taylor was still completely absorbed in what she was working on, seemingly oblivious to the rest of the word.
He slowly made his way over to her still not receiving a reaction even when the floorboards creaked under his weight. "Tay," he reached out placing a hand on her shoulder making her jolt back nearly smacking him in the face.
"Stop doing that!" Taylor whined into her hands which were now resting atop her guitar.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to this time." He gave her an apologetic smile scooping her into his arms.
"Wait I need to put my guitar down." Taylor squirmed in his hold shifting the guitar so she could pull the strap off her shoulder. Travis took the instrument from her hands carefully setting it back in its stand.
"Alright bedtime." Travis carried her back up to their room.
"But I'm not tired." She complained yet made no attempt to free herself from his hold.
"I know something that will make you tired." Travis smirked dumping her on the bed.
Taylor looked at him, her lips parted in shock. "Travis Michael it is," she turned her head to peak at the small clock on her bedside table. "Nearly two in the morning."
"That's never stopped us before." He shrugged laying down on top of her making her groan at the weight. "Besides I didn't mean sex."
"That's a first." Taylor wheezed trying to push him off of her.
"Haha," he rolled over onto his back taking Taylor with him. "How much trouble would you be in if you posted a TikTok without getting Tree's approval.
"Not much considering I'm technically her boss." She said gaining a look from Travis. "A few lectures and my password privileges may get taken away... again."
"So what I'm hearing is you can."
"Technically speaking."
"Perfect." Travis plopped Taylor back onto the bed and grabbed his phone pulling something up before handing it over to Taylor. "Watch some of these I'll be right back."
Taylor watched as he bolted from the room stunned before looking back down at his phone in her hand. He had pulled up a video of a girl dressed as Hamilton climbing out her window while lip-syncing to an audio of the play. She scrolled through the small playlist Travis had curated finding herself more confused with what Travis had planned with every video.
After a few minutes Travis returned with his arms full of a variety of this which he haphazardly dumped onto the bed an expectant grin plastered on his face. "So?"
