Third Pov
"Our next guest is the fourteen grammy winning superstar, her new album The Life of a Showgirl has been shattering records before it even came out, ladies and gentlemen we got Taylor Swift here with us!" Kelly exclaimed as Taylor walked out through the door giving the crowd an enthusiastic wave
"Hi, it's so good to see you again." Taylor smiled leaning down to give Kelly a hug.
"Oh my gosh yes, I'm so glad you agreed to join us!" Kelly led her over to the couches motioning for her to sit. "You look beautiful by the way, love the dress." Kelly complimented.
"Thank you so do you!" Taylor smiled her hands moving to smooth out her long floral orange dress.
"I'd say a congrats is in order for a few things actually, you just wrapped up your tour, you bought your master's back, the new album, and you got engaged!" Kelly exclaimed.
"I did!" Taylor held her hand out letting Kelly examine the ring on her finger before showing it off to the crowd proudly.
"This really is just the year of Taylor Swift," Kelly remarked before shifting her focus to the glittering jewel on Taylor's finger. "That really is the most stunning ring I've ever seen, and am I right in saying he got it done by someone you had shown him like a year ago?" Kelly questioned scooching back in her chair as the picture Taylor had posted to Instagram showing up on the screen behind them.
"Yes, ok so I had shown him this video randomly one day like a year and a half ago of this girl who made these very intricate, beautiful gold engravings she would do by hand. And it was one of those things where I wasn't even thinking about like dropping hints or anything. Like I know some girl will do that to like subtly give their partners an idea of what they want in a ring, but it was genuinely just me being like isn't this so cool that someone can make something like this by hand."
"So you weren't at all in your head like giving him a hint or like, like an easter egg as to what you wanted?" Kelly asked.
"No, and I had never had any idea what kind of ring I would have wanted if I were to ever get engaged so it was truly just an innocent 'oh look at this really cool video'." She explained. "But yeah, he remembered that video and was apparently taking notes and helped design the whole thing, yeah, he did an amazing job." Taylor smiled looking down at her ring which was shimmering under the studio lights.
"Don't you just love it when guys remember little things like that." Kelly sighed wistfully. "Like even when you don't remember and they'll just randomly surprise you."
"Yes," Taylor beamed. "Like you actually were paying attention to me and cared enough to remember!"
"It really is the best, so shifting away from that, I want to talk about you finally getting your master's back." Kelly pivoted getting cheers from the audience.
A large grin spread across Taylor's face. "Yes, I did."
"So this has been an ongoing thing for like ten years now, what was it like knowing they were finally yours?" Kelly leaned forward in her chair resting her hands on the armrest.
"It was so surreal, it was one of those things where like I had been wanting this for so long to the point that I never thought it could happen so when I got that call from my mom, I fully thought I was dreaming I couldn't believe it was actually happening." She shifted in her seat making herself more comfortable.
"And as I said on the podcast with Trav, when it finally set in my whole body gave out basically, I was like hobbling to where Travis and if he hadn't jumped up from what he was doing I would have ended up on the floor, well I ended up there anyways but that's beside the point." She mumbled the last bit making Kelly chuckle.
