"Haaa... that was fun, wasn't it?" Sayato hummed gleefully as she stepped down onto a rooftop of a building that was neither cut to shreds nor swallowed by shadows.
"How long has it been since I had this much fun."

Sayato walked up to the edge, taking a look at hers and Sukuna's masterpiece.

Nothingness.
There was absolutely nothing left from the little display of their domain expansions.

"Hey brat, why are you suddenly so quiet?" Sayato tilted her head, eyes sweeping around the crumbling section of the city.

A scoff, then a snicker.
"Don't tell me you're starting to feel bad now. Don't you think that's a bit late?"
Sayato spread her arms, voice rising.
"You kept turning a blind eye since I've possessed you, child! You think you're qualified to feel remorse now, just because it happened on a bigger scale?!"

Her arms fell to her side as she looked at her hands, realising that her time of being in control was running out.
"Do not forget our pact. It's your fault I'm able to do all this. It's your fault all those people died. It's your fault I didn't stop Sukuna. It's your fault."

Sayato's hand trembled, a grin tugged on her lips, arms spreading as she stared up at the sky.
"It's all your fault, Y/n L/n!!"

And just like that, the wings on her back dissipated and the horns disappeared.

Having regained control of my body didn't make me feel as happy as I thought, after having demanded it back so many times.
My gaze dropped down to the rubble below, and suddenly I felt a stinging pain in my knees, the view strangely closer than seconds before.

"...my fault..." My hands trembled as I gripped the edge of the roof, realizing I had lost the strength in my legs and fell to my knees.
"...all mine..."

Digging my fingers into the concrete of the roof, feeling my nails scrape, feeling the blood slowly coat my hands as I stared down.

Die.

I should die.

I'll probably die if I fall from here.

It's my fault.

I really should die.

It'll stop then.

This won't repeat if I die.

Die. Die. DIE. DIEDIEDIE.

"AAAGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The familiar scream had my hand slipping, my elbow slamming into the concrete, barely catching myself from falling over the edge. My head whipped around, looking for the source of the scream and there I saw him.

Agonizing screams left his lungs, hands slamming against the asphalt.

"Yuu-!" I couldn't even get his name out as I started coughing, breath catching in my throat. I could only watch on as he was losing his mind as well.

I wanted to call out, to comfort him, like I knew he would me-- but the longer I stared at him the more my heart started racing and my vision got blurry.

It's my fault he's in this state.

Then he slowly got up. He turned around. He walked off. He left. Left me behind.
