5. Interview

"Yuuji, we should get going." I whispered as I watched him kneeling in front of his grandpa's grave.

He sighed and nodded, getting up.
"What about your parents?"

"Well, you know, dad is still overseas, I think I caught some glimpses of divorce papers in my mom's office." I shrugged.
"And mom is on another business trip so she didn't even realize i wasn't home the whole night."

"That sucks..." Yuuji mumbled and I shrugged.

"Well, dad was overseas for six years now. I'd find it weird if they were still head over heels for each other." I shrugged.
"if he finds someone new I just hope he doesn't leave his new family behind again. And mom, well, she's always been busy with work, you know that."

"She still loves you." Yuuji said and I nodded.

"I know, she's working so hard so she can buy me the stuff I need and want." I sighed, pushing my hands into the pockets of my cloak.
"although she doesn't understand that by trying to shower me with gifts she doesn't shower me enough with affection. So I guess being able to see and talk to your gramps every day made me really attached to him."

Yuuji pulled me into a side hug as we walked down the street.
"Don't worry, I'm always by your side."

"Yeah, I'm by yours as well." I chuckled and returned his side hug.
"Forever together, ain't that right?"

He laughed as he remembered our promise as we were little children.
"Yeah, together forever."

"Hey let's be together forever!"

"That's a long time, isn't it?" I looked up from the sand castle.

"Yeah! That way, none of us ever has to be alone!" Yuuji grinned proudly.

"Never alone again?" I wondered.

"Yeah! We just need to stick together like glue!"

"What if we get unglued?" I wondered, being uncertain.

"Then I'll just put even more glue! And tape! Maybe some rope too!" Yuuji grinned and stretched his hand out.
"You'll never get rid of me, N/n!"

My eyes sparkled and I chuckled.
"Well, then Yuu-chan, you'll never get rid of me either!"
I grabbed his hand with a large smile.
"Let's be forever together!"

"Yeah, together forever!"

"It's a promise!" we yelled with bright grins.

"Whoa, it's in the mountains." I wondered as I adjusted the bag on my shoulders.

"Is this really Tokyo?" Yuuji asked.

"This isn't actually out of the ordinary for a Tokyo suburb." Gojo answered as he showed us the way.

"What about Fushiguro?" The pink haired boy asked as I looked around, intrigued by the scenery.

"He's fast asleep after receiving jujutsu treatment. But first things first;" Satoru continued.
"Yuuji, Y/n, you've got an interview with the principal."

"Interview?" I asked confused.
"The principal?" Yuuji followed up.

"If you mess up, you might get rejected for admission, so stay frosty, okay?"

"And then what!? Getting executed right away!?" Yuuji and I yelled in sync.

"Wow. You two really are in harmony." Satoru snickered.
