"Y/n!"
"Hey!"
"Come on, breath!"
"Open your eyes!"
"What's wrong?!"
"Oi, L/n!"

I couldn't hear them.
No, I couldn't hear anything.
Nothing expect this high pitched sound ringing through my head.

I couldn't see anything either.
My eyes, were they open, closed?
I don't know.

Where am I?
What's happening?

Wasn't I in Sukuna's domain right now?
Was I?
I don't know.

It hurts.
My chest hurts.
My heart, my lungs, everything hurts.

Yuuji, I'm sure I saw him.
Alive? Dead?
I don't know anymore.

It just hurts.
It's too dark, why is it so dark?
So loud, yet too quiet.
A deafening silence.

"Breathe, you stupid brat!"

And just like that I ripped my eyes open and took in as much air as I could at once.

My eyes were shaking; my breathing unsteady.

I was searching.

Where was I?
What's happening?

Megumi... Nobara...

They were looking at me worriedly.
Behind them, who were they again?

Zenin Maki, right?
Inumaki Toge and Panda, was it?

They looked really worried, all of them.

"I-" I choked on my words and coughed before taking in big gulps of air.

"It's alright, just focus on breathing for now." Fushiguro put a hand to my shoulder and I flinched.

My head whipped around to look at his hand, and then his face.
Right, Megumi. It was just Megumi.

I nodded, trying to steady my breathing.

"Are you alright?" Panda asked as he came closer.

I would've been ecstatic to indulge into the talking Panda but all the joy of doing that had vanished in thin air.

I nodded.
Then shook my head.

"I-... I don't...know I-" I huffed, grabbing at my chest.
"Sorry I-..."

"It's alright, come on..." Nobara placed her hands onto mine and gave them a light, reassuring squeeze.

I nodded, taking more deep breaths.
"I'm sorry.... I don't know... Don't know what.... What happened... I..." my eyes widened as I jumped up, startling everyone.
"Phone... I need... Phone... Call.... I need to call...."

I searched for my cellphone, until I finally found it in one of my pockets of my cloak.
"Call... I need to..."

With that I stumbled off the stairs and past everyone, ignoring their worried expressions.

"Is she really alright?" Maki, I assume, asked.

"The one who died was her best friend. Knew him since they were toddlers apparently...." Megumi's voice reached my ears as I stumbled against a tree out of their earshot and dialled the number I needed to call.

"Pick up... Please..." I leaned all my weight against the tree, huffing and puffing.

"Calm down brat."
