1. Being Fair

"You should get up, young one. That is if you don't want to get late."

"Shut up, Yuuji always makes sure to pick me up in time." I groaned and turned around, pressing my pillow to my ears.

Well, not that it would help.

"I doubt the boy will show up."

"And how would you know that?" I groaned once more as the voice in my head hummed.
I let go of my pillow, this isn't helping at all.

"You only have like 10 minutes left. I'm pretty sure your friend ditched you."

"So? I still have 10 minutes..." I sighed, trying to turn around again before I sprang up.
"10 minutes!?"

I looked for my phone. I only had 10 minutes until school started!
I saw a message on my screen and frowned.

"Oh, that's how you're going to be!?" I huffed and got up quickly.
I did my morning routine in record time and grabbed my bag before running down to the kitchen.

Bless my mother for always prepping me some breakfast!
Well, if she was home, that is.
I grabbed the sandwich and ran out of the house.

" Argh! 3 minutes!" I yelled as I ran as fast as I could.
"Couldn't you have told me earlier? You're so useless sometimes!"

"It is of no concern to me if you visit that building or not."

"Oh, so you want your vessel to be a fucking idiot?!" I shouted, people on the streets looking at me weirdly, from running that fast and talking to myself.

"Oh? You weren't the brightest kid from the beginning but it seems you know what vessel means now."

The voice cackled and I frowned.
"Fuck you, Saya! I was five! Do you expect a damn kid to understand that whole talk about exorcism and vessels!?"

"You sure acted like you had understood."

The female voice laughed and it bounced around in my head.
"Asshole."

"Did you expect me to be nice?"

"I sure hoped you wouldn't be a damn brat sometimes." I grumbled as I made it onto the school grounds and sprinted up the stairs to my classroom.

"Who's the damn brat!?"

She yelled furiously but I didn't answer her anymore. I don't need everyone in school thinking I'm crazy.

I slammed the doors to my classroom open, just as the bell rang.
"SAVE!!"

The class started snickering as the teacher huffed.
"Barely. Sit down, L/n. You too, Itadori."

I looked over and saw Yuuji just as exhausted as me slumping into his chair, bag falling to the ground.
I stomped to my chair behind him and shot him a glare.

"Come on, N/n, I barely made it myself!" He whisper yelled as he saw my face.

I scoffed and sat down, looking away.
"You didn't even wake me up and only texted me a 'sorry'. You're lucky i managed to wake up on my own, otherwise you'd get it."

"Don't be mad, yeah?" he made puppy eyes at me and I had to restrain myself from looking at him.

"Stop with those eyes." I whined but he pressed on, coming closer to my face.
"Alright, alright! Stop with those eyes already!"
I pushed his face away with my hand and I felt him grin under my palm.
